I think Ronaldo has more respect and love.
Whereas Arsenal fans seem to have a slightly weird teenage fetish over Cesc. Like seriously, some mates of mine are really unhealthily devoted to that man
What else do you expect ^
Most Arsenal fans seem to be teenagers.
Most United fans seem to be cranky, emotionless androids.
Don't forget plastics, oz
Probably a similar affiliation to be honest, Ronaldo was the worlds best player for a couple of years and won footballs biggest club prize.
Cesc was the aim factor in arsenal winning...well I'm sure the arsenal fans can help me out with that one...

They beat Spurs a few times?
Fabergas seems a bit more likeable to me - although he is overly fond of waving imaginary cards. Despite his prodigious talent Ronny comes across as a bit of a nob.
I would say Roni, purely because the majority of United fans still rave about him and sing his name.
Whereas it seems divided on whether or not Cesc is a or a in the Arsenal camp

Didn't Cesc Fabregas meet his current partner whilst she was married, throw pizza at an opposition manager, and worst of all, turn down a move to Man Utd
Tbh Busby neither of them would be top of my list to have a pint with. However if you had to pick one to play for your team, there is really only one choice.
Fabregas is crazy good that until recently wasn't used right by Barca hence this fetish grew.
Ronaldo just went up another level since leaving utd.
Ronaldo is miles better than cesc. Cesc is very good ronaldo is just pure class.
As people both aren't exactly the nicest on the pitch. I think ronaldo is still held in greater affection. We still sing his name at most games
" I think ronaldo is still held in greater affection. We still sing his name at most games"
Half the crowd probably think he's on the pitch.

only when bebe is playing
They both suit their respective clubs, one is at a club where card waving, diving, cheating, haranguing the ref and just generally acting like spoilt kids wen things aren't going their way on the pitch, the other at a club where ego and money is the order of the day.
As for who is better, well it's really no contest, one breaks record after record and is widely regarded as one of the greatest, the other isn't.
How on earth are we supposed to distinguish between the two clubs with that description Brutus?
Read, digest then distinguish, it's not rocket science.
Ok then, in simpler terms - both teams fit both descriptions. And Ronaldo is a better fit for the one I think (like I said, it's not really clear) you're trying to ascribe to Fabregas.
I think you're being argumentative for the sake of it, deep down you know which description fits which club, how many times when he game is going away from barca have we seen them resort to despicable cheat tactics, it's in their dna, do you need me to draw a picture?
EB
I can see where HC is coming from, partly. This can clearly be labled at both clubs:
'one is at a club where card waving, diving, cheating, haranguing the ref'
Strikes me you can see where I'm coming from completely, VC.
Ronaldo was 'a born winner'
Fabregas had 'loser' written all over him. Won very little other than what he 'earns' from the bench.
I don't know which set of fans misses their respective ex-player the most. That's a subjective issue. But Ronaldo was, and will always be, the one most likely to contribute to success. That's an objective issue.
