" upfront to compliment Giroud trust me thats a recipe for goals."

But then you can't play Walcott without dropping one of Cazorla and Ozil.

It's been one of his major weaknesses for long time against the big teams, mainly united & Chelsea.

There are no variation in tacts and all you get is our midfielders playing it around in middle with no cutting edge as the opposition have congested the midfield.

We got a glimpse of this on Tuesday

Without Walcott pace I can see all the midfielders having the same problem if Rodgers sets his team up correctly

Myth that Maureen has a spell over Wenger. If it is a level playing field Wenger beats Mourinho more often than not. Or does Klopp, Benitez, Pep have a "spell" over the special one.

In fact some idiots claimed Houghton Norwich manager always "owned" Wenger. He beat Wenger 3 times in 05/06 season because Arsenal was in decline and Chelsea was the best team in the league by a mile. Arsenal was understrength in the 2 league cup matches we lost to him. Wenger will turn it around on Mourinho if he lasts long enough as manager of Chelsea.

"Myth that Maureen has spell over Wenger"

There is no myth there but reality. Mourinho teams are the worst type of for Wenger because of how the set up.

Untill Wenger changes tactics, he won't a solution.

Fergie also jumped on to this. Remember when he played 7 defenders or something against us and still beat us

It is a myth. Wenger does change tactics. He changed it around March time which helped our end of season form so that squashes your theory. Also that Fa cup game Arsenal had played Barcelona and was suffering a crisis in confidence because of the Carling cup final defeat. Old red nose only got the better of Wenger because of the stadium restricing us for the past 8 years. No coincedence Wenger more often than not beat Fergie when we didn't have a new stadium burden on us.

It took the great Fergie 8 years to work out Wenger. My question is if Wenger is so clueless tactically then what took Fergie so long.

This forum goes through peaks and troughs. When we are winning Wenger is a god amongst men and can do very little wrong but when we lose one, maybe two games, some people just go insane. Its getting rather tedious

I don't think you can keep using money as an excuse for Wenger's poor record against Mourinho.

For a manager as good as Wenger to have such a poor record against Mourinho is down to more than money.

It's not like Wenger had no mark teams against him. Wenger built some brilliant sides that I'm pretty sure most Arsenal fans would have been confident in going into the games with.

Same with Ferguson. He doesn't have a great record against him either. And Fergie had some facking good sides against.

As much as I dislike him, the much maligned Rafa had a pretty good record against Mourinho despite not having sides as good as either of us.

In one off games the money and squads don't always matter. Credit where it's due Mourinho is brilliant and knows how to win football matches.

Oh really? Well from 98-04, Ferguson had won more trophies than Wenger did along with a CL. If anyone could also bring up the head to head stats? The 6-1 at OT springs to mind in 2001.

Wenger couldn't even defeat United in the unbeaten season if I remember correctly.

Jose had a well good record against Pep!

Sometimes money doesn't always come into it when the records are between the teams.

Over a season and years and years it does, and Wenger has been restricted, but I think it's an excuse to seriously believe that money is the only reason Wenger's teams haven't done that well against Mourinho and Fergie's teams because he's a fantastic manager and built capable of beatings us, and has, outplayed us.

Jose got slaughtered 5-0 by peps Barca in what was the most complete performance you are ever going to witness.
Wenger saw Arsenal couldn't get top 4 the way they were playing last season. I liked that style of play it made us very compact in defence.

8 years, what you on about. The games were 50/50 even back then.

Question is, Wenger has been in charge for many years now, why hasn't he cracked Fergie or mourinho in that time?

RvP
I think rgk was referring to head to head stats to begin with, going into the semis in the champs league in '09 wenger was leading. Since then I believe we have only beaten you once.

How can you rotate when you have so many injured players among first teamers and also among our youngsters?
