What worries me is how dead on our feet we looked. That was after 8? days rest.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Did we? I thought that we were fine. Only one team still running in the second half of extra time. The only point we looked poor was the first half of extra time and that was due to the formation change.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
delusional !

England have looked poor against Tunisia, Belgium and Colombia after around 30 mins..once their energy levels have dropped and their pressing goes

they have v little creativity in midfield, or ability to control matches after this point

----------------------------------------------------------------------
What does that matter when you have a striker as lethal as Kane? You only need lots of creativity when route one to Costa doesn't work and your subs are s*** players like Aspas and Rodrigo.

No, that's precisely what your comment implied - that getting his leg broken would be a consequence of his own actions. Dress it up in whatever semantics you like, you basically said he's looking for it.

And, as I already pointed out, he's already had bones broken by tackles. Four years ago a knee to his back denied him the opportunity to represent his country in a World Cup semi on home soil.

Again, he'd be well advised to cut a lot of that sh*t out of his game, but I really don't see why he should get so much more grief for exaggerating tackles than his opponents get for kicking him all over the park for 90 minutes.

Well most people's problem isn't that he exaggerates the tackles but he EXAGGERATES the tackle, rolls around 5 times then flaps around like a fish.

weird about ronaldo if reports are to be believed, why serie a / juve? They win the league every year anyway same as PSG.

Thought he'd come back to the PL or if not facilitated then go enjoy retirement in MLS on mega bucks, such a weird move

Wouldn't say it was a weird move at all

Juventus one of the biggest clubs in World Football
He will still be playing in a competitive league
He has conquered Spain and England
He is too young to retire to the US (he is a different specimen to everyone else)

Turin or Manchester...mmm let me think

Friday looks like world cup semi final day when you look at the teams and what's left on Saturday.

Jordan Henderson is England’s lucky charm.

Unbeaten in his last 29 England games.

I agree, it makes perfect sense.

At his age, he can't really tarnish his legend, he can only encrease it. What better way than to play for another CL title to equal the individual all-time record and do it with the perennial European underachiever of all the mega-clubs?

It's also a huge money-spinner. Going to the U.S. or China would provide him with huge exposure on those domestic markets, but Europe and the CL are still the biggest global platform by some distance, and he could probably still go to either of those places in 3 or 5 years' time anyway.
