Quick question, I believe Mané is the most difficult winger to defend against in the league when on the run in full flow. Very erratic and poor end product but such a good player on the break. Sadio is 26 years old.
Sane (23) and Sterling (24) blow Mané in terms of end product, unreal statistics as attacking wingers and will probably blow the Senegalese away again this season.
What is the reason for this?
Is it because Sané and Sterling are playing ahead of better attacking midfielders?I mean they miss aswell but their numbers are still way better than Mané who is ore experienced and played longer?
I just don’t get it? Sadio is a very talented player and has the ability to get the numbers that Salah gets?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What waa the quick question? why is a more experienced player considered not as good as some less experienced players?
Guess the answer is the same as why Ozil cant get in the Arsenal team ahead of Guendouzi despite his wealth of experience in playing for Germany and Real Madrid
GT, what are you talking about? Chelsea were crossing into the box, the problem was they had no striker to cross it into. It wasn't that they isolated their CF, they didn't have a CF!
Hazard isn't a striker so won't take up the positions in the penalty area that a striker needs to, but even if he did, he'd have been up against two centre-halves who are both stronger and more dominant aerially than him. Would have been a waste of time.
Sarri made a big mistake in not starting Giroud. We'd have had more problems to deal with had he done this.

The way Chelsea is playing I dont expect them to improve. You saw the game yesterday. They completely isolated their CF. It doesnt matter who is playing upfront. CF need the ball into the box. Chelsea havent manage to bring the ball in front of goal much. Their wide players tend to do it all of their own or cutting inside. Their crosses and passes into the box were woeful.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree they were awful.
Put in a proper centre forward in Higuain though means Hazard can then move to his best position. They will also have a presence in the penalty area when yesterday they had none. Hazard clearly isn’t a centre forward.
Could also see how having no proper striker hindered their crossing game- Alonso had nobody to aim at and kept cutting inside.
Think they will improve with Hig and I expect him to get goals.
It makes a big difference when your most creative player is the one playing cf.
Samir basically saying the same thing too

Ashley buying out HMV but won’t give Newcastle any cashwhat a WUM

HMV is great. I went there and they have these things called mini disks that you can put music onto and then listen to the music anytime on your walkman. Reckon they'll really take off in the not too distant future.

Really Samir? I disagree completely . They had one chance in the first half that was the chance of Pedro where our defense was overplayed. When they crossed or passed into our box the balls were atrocious. They have too many egos in their team who want to score.

And that guy hardly touched the ball.
How are Spurs playing lads
Yeah because of where he was playing. And when they did bring on a striker it was one that is easy o defend against and lacks ability to run in behind. Higuain should remedy that and get Hazard back playing in his best position.
They still have issues, of course. But a striker makes a bug difference because they are currently wasting their best player.
GT, I think you're misunderstanding my point.
You said they isolated their centre-forward. They didn't start with a centre-forward. Hazard was in a false 9 role. But it didn't work, partly because he kept dribbling into blind alleys and partly because Sokratis/Koscielny marshalled him well.
Neo makes a good point that whenever their fullbacks got into positions to cross the ball, they saw no-one to whip it into, so they had to check back and continue passing it around in triangles.
If Giroud had started yesterday or the Higuain deal was done, Sokratis and Koscielny would have had a lot more to cope with because he knows how to hold the ball up and what positions to take in the penalty area. So Chelsea wouldn't have been as hesitant to cross the ball in or overplay it as much as they did if they had a proper focal point.
As it was, Kos and Sokratis had probably the most comfortable evening they've had all season.

Good chance. Sanchez done well to get back to put him off.
Chelsea will be better once Hazard goes back wide, he's been by far their most creative player this season.
I know that Hazard played as a false 9. He really didnt dribble much because he hardly got the ball or receiving a ball in front of him. Their wide players havent supported him much. He surely missed someone to link up. Their attempt to cross the ball or pass it were absolute awful, thankfully. Giroud wouldnt have made a difference in my view.
Let's leave it there.
