So TAA got away with a handball in the lead up to their goal?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well they scored so he didn’t get away with anything.
By the letter of the law if Newcastle hadn’t scored it would have been a pen and a red, because they scored he should have received a yellow for unsportsmanlike conduct. That’s the facking rules.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well by the fact that a pen and a red card is a lot more severe I suppose they did get away with it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Okay well the point is the rules were adhered to, although Trent should have got a yellow. There was no grounds for a red after the goal went in
People seem to have a really hard time accepting that there is a rule they don’t like
After the game, Jurgen Klopp handed Andre Marriner the keys to his new retirement cottage in Southport.

I don't like it either. If on the one hand you can score a goal, and on the other you can get a very good chance at a goal and a red then the two things aren't equal. The rule should be changed.
There is no rule that says it wasnt a red.
There is a rule saying an unsuccessful attempt to deny a goal by handbsll is yellow, but TAA was successful in stopping Rondon scoring. A goal in a different phase of play doesnt let TAA off.
The fact is the ref missed the handball altogether.
I’d take a definite goal over a possible goal every day of the week personally
Clearly that's a shocker in favour of Liverpool then, made worse by TAA going on to assist for their second goal.
Can't believe how lucky this Liverpool team have been.

Remember in the cup final v Chelsea we could’ve had a pen and a red but bale decided to take the tap in goal
I’d never heard the interpretation that they said on the tv before, if that is the case then it’s a ridiculous rule that doesn’t make any sense.
I didn’t think Newcastle deserved much from the game just because of how bad they were at defending high balls into the box. I think they’ll feel a bit hard done to though with some of the 50/50s

Origi to score the winner. It written in the stars.
-------
I know you hate it to happen but well done anyway
If they want to make it fairer they should just bring play back for the pen regardless, and give the player the red. Simple.

Can't even remember now, but seriously any player with a chance to follow up with a goal should deliberately miss, just to get a pen and red.

Then that’s fine, i would have no problem with them clearing up the rules, same as they are doing with handballs so there’s less room for interpretation.
But in reality the goal was scored and there was no grounds for the red after
Never in doubt.
Go Foxes!!
