I don't know why people sleep on Germany. One visit to Bremen or Lübeck and you'll fall in love with the country.

Yeah, pretty good actually, it was a few years ago but the whole process was smooth, weather was very good so the crossing was problem free. Once you're on mainland Europe, it's a very enjoyable, often scenic drive.

Wales and Scotland have so much better scenery than parts of England for me

Frankfurt is nice. But i haven't been in agaes, so it might of changed a little since then.
