Wales and Scotland have so much better scenery than parts of England for me
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I adore my home area of Sussex between Brighton and Eastbourne. Beautiful part of the country between the Seven Sisters, Cuckmere Haven and the South Downs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I lived in Eastbourne and Hastings for uni, absolute shiiit holes. Seven sisters and beachy head are alright though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hastings I can believe. Eastbourne is okay, but a complete dead end if you're a young person. The people are awful. I miss the land, but pretty much not one person who isn't family there.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s just students and old people.

Anyone ever driven to Belgium from the UK?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep, drove to Dover, ferry to Calais then drove to Brussels
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, i'd do that route too. Enjoyable?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, pretty good actually, it was a few years ago but the whole process was smooth, weather was very good so the crossing was problem free. Once you're on mainland Europe, it's a very enjoyable, often scenic drive.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Cheers for that. I've always wanted do something like that too. Makes the trip that bit more memorable.

It was a lovely trip Prem, you'll love it. Love road trips.

No, it's all feckless people whose highlight of their lives is acting like diickheads in secondary. They have to have security in Eastbourne's main maccies because hardnut kids think they're in a gang and turn up with knives.

Countrysides are stunning, always look forward to country retreats when opportunities come by. That's one thing the UK has an abundance of.
Yeah I don’t disagree Giroulski, I’d commute back home to London nearly every weekend when I got the chance

I effed off to Leicester the second I got the chance. People are better once you get towards Lewes and Brighton, though. The kids in the countryside there were almost suspiciously lovely. And Brighton, well, it's Brighton.
