coleman, clarke, mccarthy and long are the future of the ireland team and the sooner trap starts brings them into the 1st team the better..

its so frustrating that we have all these young exciting players yet i know when the big matches come around next month it'll be business as usual....mcshane, kilbane, andrews, whelan, keane

if keane doesn't have a new club by end of transfer window, trap must surely look at dropping him..

would he have the bottle??

I'm probably on my own on this one, but I'd have Kilbane before Ward.

Your mad CP. I would have Ward, Clark, Cunningham and O Dea on before Kilbane.

Yip CP, can't imagine to many would have Zinidine as first choice.

Looking for Keane to be dropped is madness!!

On the plus side Kevin Doyles latest injury is not as bad as feared according to Wolves manager Mick Mc Carthy

I thought it was an overall thing, didn't realise it was just for the Sept internationals. In that case I'd eith put O'Shea out right and put St Leger at CB or a straight swap with Stephen Kelly.

I more meant if it was a straight choice between him and Ward. Left back is a bit of a weakness for us I think. I'd like to see someone who actually plays that position every week at club level in there. Out of our choices Cunningham is probably the ony one that applies to?

Now Newcastle have sold Enrique it'll be intresting to see what they do with Ferguson. And it'll be interesting to see what Ferguson himself decides to do as far as international football goes.

If Ferguson declares for us and lives up to his potential at Newcastle he would be the future of our left backs. But its a big if.

Cant beleive how much Kevin Foley gets overlooked by Trap, another nonsensical injustice picking McShane and even calamity Kelly over him. He's by far our most composed and Premiership experienced right back. I'd go with

Given
Foley, Dunne, St Ledger, Ward
McGeady Whelan /Wilson, McCarthy, Duff
Long, Keane

Forgot all about Foley. He is a valuble member of the squad imo and much better than Kelly. Why was he not in the last squad was he injured or what?

No idea, think Trap forgot about him??
