Kaiser, first thanks for a fitba related thread
Second what you said above would be a relativley sucessesful season for the Gers IMO, get past Falkirk and draw say St Johnstone or a HIbs and see how you fare, it is still early doors for the newish Rangers squad but neither side of fans are known for our patience so we are not
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No problem Piffle as mentioned previously I cant keep up with all the boardroom chat
That is fckin embarrassing.
......................................................................................
More embarrassing that the spfl premiership do not have any games on international weeks when 90% of the teams will have less players on international duty than Rangers will have
So it was a nine point lead in effect
Aye IE, he is fat and Lennie wears a tracksuit, get both if them to feck
Kaiser, I despaired when all the Bears troubles kicked off, my knowledge of corporate finance etc is a big fat
I try to join in and just make a james hunt of maself
we struggle v dunfermlines yoof team last night FFS
----
At least dunfermline are full time
That's just rubbish management from the SPFL. We opt out of games against part timers because we are missing a couple of international players.
That's embarrassing.
Piffle - I only know what I read on the Internet and press etc so your not the only one that knows Hee haw about it
Super's input on these boards is brilliant, he'd be missed if he wasnt on here.
He winds me up sometimes, but its all good, and he's entitled to his opinion.
It just utterly raps my nuts when he keeps taking a performance against a very poor side and thinks thats the best we can do, thats us trying our hardest, thats our current level.....baws!!
Its like saying we never ever had a hope in hell's chance of getting anywhere in Europe coz we struggled agaisnt bottom half of the table SPL sides under Advocaat, McLeish and Walter, which is way way wide of the mark.
The season we got to the Uefa cup Final, we scraped past Partick Thistle, St Johnstone and QOTS in the cups.
We beat Stuttgart at home, beat Lyon away, drew with Barca at home, beat Werder Bremen at home, beat Sporting Lisbon away and got a draw in Florence...all in that same season.
Honestly?
You are embarrassed that our manager wants to give the fans the chance to watch the strongest team that he can give us for every game?
That's his job!
And after cancelling the Dunfermline game it would have been disrespectfull to Forfar to play them in same circumstances
Forfar put a weakened team out of the cup and gave a strong team a game of it in the league , so why risk dropping points when there is no need to?
IE, at least when you post about that it is coherent and makes grammatical sense
I am to be fair often drunk in the evening on here but even during the day I sound like a jakey when chatting about it
Hence the reason I am praying there will not be another admin for the Gers, might have to go to college if that happens so I can still enjoy this site
Yes, I'm embarrassed that he feels that there is a risk that without a few internationals he won't be able to beat part time footballers.
It's pathetic.
That's what his squad is for. FFS play them.
I wouldn’t say its embarrassing, the club have taken advantage of the rules and choose not to play.
I would rather we did play Forfar I just think some of the reaction is OTT – but everyone is entitled to their opinion
embarrassed and pathetic , wee bit harsh there
Looks like we will be without little and foster as well as the ones away on international duty , if we were to pick up another few injuries we could well be without 7 or 8 of our 1st 11
Correct decision in my opinion
"Yes, I'm embarrassed that he feels that there is a risk that without a few internationals he won't be able to beat part time footballers. "
Or he is just buying himself and his players some time that SPL teams get automatically.
Nothing wrong with a two week lay off from games mid season......nothing wrong with that at all
SPL sides get this break automatically.
If we come up agaisnt SPL sides i the cup, there is a possibility they would have had a two week layoff before a cup game.
Would you be embarrassed then??
Its not all about the opposition
IE, at least when you post about that it is coherent and makes grammatical sense
+==========
Are you drunk now ??
I'd rather we didn't have a 2 week break at all - can effect sharpness.
Partick
We can only hope it does
Not all bad, the two week break will allow Foster to get back to full fitness
