Have you guys not been reading the truth behind the seating at the OS?
The club have effectively been lying to you fans, the way the seats are set out will mean that you will have poor vision of the pitch and action.
This is not me summing, check it out yourselves, just google something like How far will seats be in Olympic Stadium when West Ham move in?
The only place you will be as near as Arsenal fans (who are at least 10 yards away) is on the edges of the arc's. As for the pitch side seats, the trajectory is such that you will have heads blocking people's views in first few rows, plus the upper tiers are a long long way from the pitch.
summing should have been wumming!!!
Another Olympic Stadium exclusive from Greaves...
.......staying in New Zealand apparently, Myhammers.
Muffinboy..........why the apparently??? Jealous???
I am currently on Stewart Island which is the southern most inhabited island in the World. Great views, however I did not enjoy the sea crossing from Bluff one bit!!
By the way, the article about the views at the OS was written by a West Ham fan!!!!!!
Jealous? Na. Just wondered which West Ham in NZ gave you OS update?
Well at least you are consistent in being stupid!!! Have you not heard of that new thing called the internet??? It is quite good and allows you to look at things back in the UK. You should try it muffinboy!!
You are believing something said on the internet by an unknown West Ham fan.
As Myhammers said, it is another exclusive from you on OS.
Have you read it yet?? Then firstly how do you know he is unknown? You and my hammers are unknown on here so by your logic, we should believe nothing you write!! Is that correct??
No, not really. All the info about OS is available on official West Ham site. They don't deliberately post dodgy stuff on the official website.
Ha ha......!!!!! you muppet, they have not posted exact distances to the pitch from the seats have they? I wonder why not?
That's because they are still working with architects to reduce the distance as far as they can. Unless above said person is an architect who got the contract from LLDC.
We are all waiting for your another exclusive from New Zealand..
Mafia, you should know by now that Greaves was one of the architects on the OS. Over the last few years, he has provided information to which no one else is privy.
For example, when everyone thought the capacity was 54k, he pointed out that it was still at 60k. I can't wait for more exclusives.
Maf,
That's because they are still working with architects to reduce the distance as far as they can.
==================
Are you sure about this? myhammers has lead us to believe on many occasions that the stadium has already been completely converted, and West Ham are simply enjoying have 2 different homes to choose from at the same time - yet opt to play at Upton Park, obviously...

Muffinboy............the architects can only work with the front tier of seating, the upper tier cannot be changed without the stadium effectively being demolished. That is why they are limited in how they fit the retractable seating.
Myhoofers...........I was correct in my original posting of 60,000 capacity. Once it was decided to install retractable seating this was then reduced to 54,000. You yourself were claiming originally that it was 60k too!!!!
Why have you not responded to Chicken's posts?
Griefs, i'm sure they are closing down some part of the upper tier...We'll wait and see your exclusive..
Muffinboy .........the might be closing it down but they cannot move it, which is what I stated. It is integral to the stadium structure!
So what if the seats are further away? Do you think that will stop fans from going?
The OS has disadvantages, but the advantages far outweigh them. WHL may be closer to the pich, but it is considerably smaller and located in the middle of nowhere.
Old Trafford is great, but it's not in London. If your definition of a great stadium is its closeness to the pitch, then non-league stadiums would top the list.

mylosers will be watching his championship football team in a brand new shiny stadium
You will never watch Tottenham in a brand new stadium.
myhammers,
You will never watch West Ham in a stadium they own, or a home match in a purpose built football stadium...
Finally, admittance that the seats will be the furthest away in the Championship
Of course it matters myhoofers, The Boleyn has a great atmosphere & you are going to lose that come 2016!!
As for our stadium, that is very much on the go, and we have already begun the site clearance. The CPO's are virtually done & the only thing that is still being negotiated is naming rights for the new ground.
