Interesting stat. You could argue this is AVB's fault.

Sprus should have won that game at a canter. The sickening thing is you are going to get that keeeent Pardew coming on and saying how well Newcastle defended, and in fact but for the goalie getting lucky on several occasions making saves he did not have a clue about, the game could have been about 6-1 to Spurs.

The problem is now, AVB will probably play Lamela in the game at City next week, just about the hardest away fixture you could have.

Hengy, we're one of the lowest scoring teams in the league. Let's just keep playing the same way....

Sandy, the main reason we lost this wasn't Krul. If we had played as we did in the second half in the first half we would have won that game without any problems. It's as if the first half we expected the chances to come for us so patiently moved the ball around. Then after we go behind we start playing.

We played well in the second half and created lots of chances. Erikson, Kaboul, Paulinho all should have scored. Soldado played very well but maybe should have scored in the first half. It is a dissappointing result but we looked far less lethargic than in previous games. Lets stop crying like children and support spurs.
