Kenny Jackett: "Nobody has ever said that Dave (Edwards) isn't good enough. He has just been unfortunate with injuries."

"Kenny loses the plot" shocker

Bloody welshies, always looking out for each other in the flock.

Derby fan here. Jacobs is pure energy and positivity. If you want the player that tracks back and offers good support to your full backs, you may be a bit disappointed with Jacobs as he hasn't yet mastered the art of tackling.

But he will run at a player, and keep going, his shot is decent too. If you can afford a positive player in the team to keep going and going, he's the kid. I think this move could suit all 3 parties. It could suit Wolves because it's easier to put an attacking player into a winning side that is stronger than most opposition, we cannot fit him in yet as we at Derby are still finding our new style under McClaren. It could suit Derby cos if Jacobs plays to his level, he could be one of your best players and get a really good run and learn to toughen up and be a bit cute in what he does. It will suit Jacobs cos he need minutes on the pitch.

Hope you sign him and play him, I rate him as a real good prospect.

Haha there is a thread on this guy on the derby forum today so I politely asked him to add wolves to it and was told to frck off

Touchy souls aren't they, no wonder they are so irrelevant these days.

Derby fans are hurting right now because Forest and Leicester own them big time.

I found Derby to be a great bunch of lads last season.
Thanks for the input Mostyn6, sorry you caught some in their time of the month.

no probs Wolfgang. It does amuse me. Every club has it's share of deluded ignorants!

I'd like to point out, the majority of Derby fans are currently in the clouds of optimism at the moment. We've bought back the first team coach (as manager) who turned us into one of the most attacking and entertaining Premier League teams from 95-98 (then SAF took him to United), our ex-midfield football genius, who I believe also graced the gold and black of your good selves, Paul Simpson has come in as coach, and Eric Steele, highly regarded goalkeeping coach.

We've just appointed your old academy director/manager Chris Evans as our director of football (for want of a better title) to improve our scouting network and contacts.

Basically Derby are on the up, we're turning our back on the very amateur setup that was employed by Nigel Clough and his mates.

I won't bite, I have Wolves to win the league in my bet. But I will point out, we are in the top half of the league ABOVE Wolves, which isn't bad for an irrelevent club.

Sounds like it Tatts.

I watched the Oldham vs Derby game yesterday and thought he looked like a cross between Edwards,Griffiths and McDonald. Loads of energy, can score and can play an accurate pass.
