We play a certain Mr Erik Lamela, that's what we do. Instead of f. Ucking around with a real talent that's cost us 30 mil, f. Ucking ridiculous!!!

Signing Hulk is very unlikely due to his massive wages.
But who knows, plus he loves AVB!
Lots of people say he's overrated but I don't think so. He was unplayable at Porto and made a massive mistake joining Zenit.
He should have known that they're supporters are racist as faack.

Andy Carroll could solve your battering ram striker issues
Is he a central striker? I always presumed Hulk was another one of these so-called 'wide forwards'

Kneerash...you laugh but I actually think a fit Andy Carroll would still add a different option. Especially against teams like Hull and Newcstle.
I definitely don't want him but you'd be surprised what a different option from the bench does to match.
a LB and I'm more than happy

Don't really like/see the need for Hulk personally
Think we're pretty covered for the right wing slot. Lamela, Lennon, Townsend can all play there.
If we were to go for another winger I would much rather we went for Salah from Basel who we've been heavily linked with and would be much cheaper and who can play on the left.
A left back and a right back are the essential spots for me.
Right back? Walker and Naughton are fine.
Left Back? Can't believe both Fryers and Rose picked up injuries at the same time.
Someone like
Mario Gomez, Llorente, Vucinic
rate all of those players,
Spur the moment. It's not much to ask for is it?
---------------------------------
Not at all mate We've got the squad for it and therefore we should aim high!
--------------------------------
Mario Gomez, Llorente, Vucinic
-----------------------------
Yep, me too. Alessandro Matri is another one I'd take in heartbeat. Loved him at Cagliari
Right back: Walker is good and seems to be maturing as a player. Due to his lack of offensive threat I don't view Naughton as a decent long term backup. Would like us to bring someone else in as I suspect Walker will tire during the season owing to the amount of games he's playing, and also in case of injury.
Left Back: Massively impressed by Rose from what I saw. I'll admit that last year I didn't think he had a future at the club, but now I can't wait to see him back. Fryers for me is almost a complete unknown, I suspect he's similar to Naughton in that he is decent defensively but lacks in his attacking play.

So spurs need a sporadically productive, immobile striker? An unusual choice.
Not sure what system and style AVB is going for but at the moment it's not clicking,
I know it's been said by othere (LLM) but forgetting all his performances prior Adey does bring something to the team

It's not that Brain, we need someone to link the play and be a target from the front, Soldado can't hold the ball up (Berbatov style) with ease,
At the moment we don't have a focal point! we just have a stiker who's main asset is poaching in the box!

Vucinic is far from immobile. Gomez isn't sporadically productive. Check his stats at Bayern. Llorente is a beast and just starting to play some games again to get back to his best.

sorry, I couldnt resist. Of those, I used to rate Llorente but he seems to have lost his way, and Gomez doesnt thrill me either. Vucinic is decent enough.
I really think that Spurs (although it would be unlikely) would have benefitted from the addition of Lukaku, trmendous player, quick, battering ram type who gives defenders nightmares. His hold up play is not ideal, but his very presence and movement unsettles back lines all over the place - something Spurs' strong midfield could exploit.
Soldado & defoe are not and will not prosper in this system - even adebayor would be more productive.
What Spur said,
Gomes has a great record at Bayern,. Vucinic yes I'd agree, his goals to games isn't great but he's a good player
Llorente is one I've always wanted, strong, good touch, when we had Bale and Lennon he would have been ideal, now in this current set up with need options,
Adey, Soldado and Defoe, those should be the 3,
Lukaku, trmendous player, quick, battering ram type who gives defenders nightmares
