My local does a really good pint of Timmy Taylor's. Plus it has a really good fireplace to enjoy it by.

Harrys maybe your old man had a point
I quite like some of the local brews, but this be coider coun'ry - the ones from your parts and my native south east are better Harrys
Greene King IPA really wets my taste buds but at only 3.6% is a bit lightweight but a good session ale.
Their Abbot is a nice drop, aquired taste but a full bodied 5.0% does its job - a session on abbots wets your trousers rather than your taste buds
I also like London Pride 4.1%, well balanced in flavour for such a dark ale , never had a bad pint of it
Woodforde's Wherry is a nice drop too but again only 3.8% so best for sessions, but when im on the Norfolk broads its what I aim to drink
The local brew I really like is Donningtons SBA - a malty 4.4% - real nice ale, what I would call a supping ale where your tastebuds keep telling your brain to wash it over your tongue - repeatedly until you cant stand up anymore
This is the sort of article Admins are crying out for on the new site
Greene King IPA and Abbot
London Pride
Woodfordes Wherry
I can't comment on the Donningtons SBA as I've never tried that one but from your comments it sounds like a good wet Isn't Flowers made somewhere over your way? Flowers best and Flowers original are fairly decent brews from memory.
I've heard about the other site but I've never been on it yet, have you got a link?
I dont know about Flowers mate - it could be, I dont think I have ever tried it, I always thought it was a pretender, I might be wrong though
As for the other site, I dont even know if its up and running.
It will only be another money laundering site like ja606 is anyway - I remember reading an article on here once about the Admins corrupted ways
