smalling for me should be utd first choice CB,with one of the others.
Its a tad hard calling him 5th when in reality we have 4 very good CB's who could all stake a claim for being a regular starter.

I agree. Slow players like Gerrard will struggle against ve Germans.

Roy would have been better off to try Jones as a DM with Gerrard as we all know Gerrard is not a DM. I don't rate Cleverly one bit and this midfield if the Germans play a strong side will struggle big time.

Cleverley isnt a bad player.

lets not forget he lined up with carrick against your supposed superior 3 at anfield and had more and better possession.
he is similar to carrick in the way he talks the ball and keeps things ticking over.

Barkley should have got the nod ahead of Cleverley. Cleverley is rubbish. You don't need to experiment with him to know that.
