Not all the time. Look at City, all these goals, but still, a dodgy defence makes them vulnerable. If them attackers aren't on form, they won't win ie. Sunderland.
But you said the result is 4-1 regardless.
Why are you applying a hypothetical question to man city when the question was what do you prefer 4-1 or 2-0
Because your saying goals are better than clean sheets.
4-1 obviously because that improves your GD. Something which only to recently has proved costly for us. Secondly if it is level on points and GD then it goes by goals scored. Therefore surely 4 is better than 2
the more goals the better, not really bothered about clean sheets tbh
