Excellent shot by Castle in behind the brown there. A shot I haven't seen used in a long time and Selby's in trouble. Mark Selby my favourite Snooker player, but gotta give credit for this young lad.
Thought Selby was going to wrap up an easy enough victory, now it looks like we'll be seeing him playing in the early hours in every round this year!
A poor shot from him there, again in this match. Taking this young lad for granted and he's finding out it's no easy ride against these types of players who give it everything they have.
Extremely unlucky there from Castle.
Them shots will come with experience though. Hopefully Castle will make it big.
For some information, the average frame time is 15:08 minutes so is there is a maximum of 5 frames left, that means, on average, it will mean 1 hour and 15 minutes and 40 seconds of game play to go taking us to, 22 hours, minutes and 42 seconds.
15 minutes *
That's if my calculations are right anyway.
Anyway, off to play some of my own Snooker on my table I have, I'll be back on in a while.
Selby is from another era.................... wish he would pi-sh off back there !!
He leads 4-3 now, terrible break-off shots all night though
Yeah on all week until the final next Sunday
Good win Selby nevertheless. But not half lucky through some of it. My calculations were 5 minutes off from the average frame time! Not bad going.
See ya's tomorrow.

I say this every tournament, but I hope Maguire goes out.
Hi RKW!!! Not been around recently, hoping toget a bit more involved this week. I see there are a few players moaning about the new format etc, but that was to be expected. Early start with the football for me today, hopefully be around later.
Alright kinsang.
Glad to see you around mate, you're normally a regular on here.

Yes indeed there are, although I think everyone we'd expect of the top players has come through the first round. Maybe Marco Fu not? Apparently he was ill.
Yeah I know, then Liverpool are on at 2pm so I won't be around until later either. Not the best start for your boys, although just seen the equaliser.
Full draw will be on the thread for the Last 32 onwards. Got all the matches posted now.
Trump through 6-0, Jimmy White losing to Bingham too at the MSI although I didn't see the score.
Jimmy, retire NOW. I could have told you how that match would pan out. Jimmy missed a black off the spot in frame 1. A scrapy match then the better player won. That was the story of his career over the past 15 years.
Think we knew what the outcome would be with Jimmy today, was just a case of by what scoreline.
MJW through to the next round, just seen off Rory McLeod 6-3. He plays Ricky Walden in the L32.
I use to love watching Wattana in the early 90s - in full flow a really good break-builder, who played nice little cannon shots, and although hindered due to a lack of power, still won his fair share of matches. In many ways if Wattana had the power game that Ding's technique allows him to have, he would have been an even more formidable player.
Expect Ding to be comfortable enough against a player past his best, but should be an entertaining open game.
Evening kinsang
Decent result for your lot today? Don't even ask about our boys!
Ding trailing 1-0, over half-an-hour that frame. I wonder how many people are watching this in China right now? Bearing in mind it'll be 3:40am over there.
