One player I always think could beat Ronnie is Bingham. Lost to him in the final of the Champion of Champions a few weeks ago. Certainly reckon if this goes the distance he might win. Would it be classed as an upset if he did?

My prediction about the Bingham and Ronnie game was spot on unfortunately got the Robertson and Macguire match completely wrong though

Been watching Ronnie for a long time now and was gutted today. Thought he'd manage to snooker Bingham in the last frame but that he made a few mistakes today. Going 4-1 down is difficult to come back from for any player.

I'm good, yourself? I saw the first three frames but was out working this afternoon, then cam home to the news he'd been beaten. I had a sneaky feeling Bingham might win but thought Ronnie would take him in a close 6-5.

Only realised after the match it was his birthday. Nothing says happy birthday like going home from the second most prestigous snooker title.

Selby is a lucky lucky did not deserve to win that frame. I hope that frame won't affect Barry and he'll be able to re group.

I'd rather Neil win it then Selby. I know he's Australian but he's a decent entertaining player and not slow and boring so for the good of snooker it would be a lot better if he won it rather then Selby. I want neither of them to win it though

Bingham isn't bad either to be fair but does he have the steel to go all the way? Not too sure about that myself. Can't see him beating Robertson personally.

Final is best of 19 frames. Tomorrow and Saturday's SFs are best of 17.

I did watch the champion of champions and it was brilliant seeing as it was its first year. Gosh 100k not bad either for prize money.
