Err.... AVB will probably tell the players to go to training each day. Then we'll probably beat Tromso and then give our best against Man Utd.

I'm calm too, think it's because in a strange way this might make AVB get his head out of his backside and try and gloss over our (and his) blatant failings.

We either treat this as a watershed moment which signals a dramatic shift in tactics etc and we make something out of this season, or we carry on treading water until may and he gets the boot.

Ade is the only one who looks bothered. Ironic.

Truthfully City could do that to any team in the PL apart from probably Chelsea..

Buying lots of players in one summer never works for anyone I really do not understand why clubs do it..

Was almost like the money was burning a hole in your pockets? Look at other clubs who have tried to do something similar. QPR, Sunderland, Crystal Palace..

Obviously Spurs are a better team then those mentioned but those clubs all did the same thing in trying to sign to many people in one window.

Think of the players already their almost trying to replace your whole midfield and forward line in one window has backfired big time. A lesson to be learned.

This one off game can be ignored, anyone can get a thrashing now and again.

It's the problems that were already becoming apparent like your lack of goals that you need to sort out.

Purely manager to blame.
He's just not that good.

Lost the will with this side at the moment and can't see us getting any better. It seems like the old spurs is creeping back in and it's so worrying. Formation change? I really don't know. But if we don't beat united next week then top 4 is over.

I feel exactly the same. This sounds ridiculously stupid after a 6-0 defeat but I think the reason I feel so calm is because I know we will turn it around.

What I would like to happen is for us to slowly start to pick up as the season goes on, not taking any more batterings and as other squads smaller than ours become fatigued, we will see the fruits of having a squad as big as ours. Give the Europa league a good go (but we won't win it), finish 7th or 6th and then focus solely on the defence in the Summer, no wholesale changes. I believe it's the only way to go, the lack of goals will be a distant memory soon.

If you think AVB is not up to the job, then this is actually a very useful result - difficult to see a way back for him now; should speed up his inevitable exit.

You can take heart in the fact you are only 2... sorry 8 points behind Arsenal

Is that a joke - you honestly think defence is the problem. Before today we had the best defence in the league yet have only scored 6 goals from open play.

I think the club is in a bit of a mess to be honest and yes Chronic I 100% think AVB has lost the dressing room.

I'm curious what another manager would make of our squad.

Would they be smacking their lips with all the prospective talent, or would they be looking at the deficiencies? LB, CB, CF?
