Order coming in tomorrow for me.

Can anyone tell me what cool little things it does? My friend told me that XboxOne can record things if you tell it to, can PS4 do anything cool like that?

Ps4 is good. Brother has it and can't complain about anything really. Weren't any features which blew me away however like some of the Xbox One features have. The Kinect, aside from not initially wanting it, is a really amazing piece of hardware. Works flawlessly.

Ps4 and Xbox One both work great with games so far but the One is edging it for me with features.

Interesting. During e3 everyone was saying ps4 is the one. I guess xbox is more for entertainment where as ps4 is more gaming. Totally opposite to last gen

That's not what I'm saying. The Xbox One isn't any less about gaming than it was last gen but this gen has pushed for more features (it was brought about with the 'dashboard' last gen) on top of being a gaming system.

Last gen PS3 really pushed the all in one family entertainment center of the household. Having a bluray player allowed them that. I think One has achieved it.

In the end, it was all be about preference and exclusives. There won't be much between them in the future. Good for the consumer/gamer.

Kent, I think if you buy the camera accessory for it, it will have similar features to the kinect and has voice recognition too.

what a clichéd thing to say, why is the ps4 more for gaming?
why else would the xbox one have a beasty graphics card, to play Sonic 1+2+3 I guess or, Streets of Rage!

Which features are you talking about RtM? I am a very purest when it comes to games I don't care about certain things so muck like being able to record game play or talk with the kinect (got bored with that after about 10mins 1st time round) so from someone who has used em what were the stand out features?

I ordered with Game and they offered us the choice to upgrade to a game bundle a few months back, at the time I picked COD Ghosts, but I wish I had picked AC 4 now!

Tempted to trade in a bunch of my PS3 games to get it though

PS4 might very well be the first console I'll buy since the snes. The extra GPU power and the 50% memory bandwidth improvement over the XBox will in time become noticeable when game developers leverage.

I tried coding for the cell processor on the PS3 and it was totally cumbersome. The have got it right this time with the APUs.

I want it but can't be bothered queuing up @ midnight

You'll definitely see some amazing exclusives on ps4 further down the console line, a last of us esque title.
