He will be the new Kenny Miller for Rangers.

Fused I have also heard this, good news for player and for club. Everton, Swansea and Bolton have been linked most recently and that is where I hope he goes. However it is likely to be a result of the highest offer so I suppose we'll have to wait and see what happens.

However what I don't understand is why if the budget was so tight did we bring in John Rankin? Flood, Ropbertson, Swanson, Douglas, Armstrong and occasionally Russell are ample cover for midfield. IMO it should have been Flood and a defender which were the initial priorities.

He'll either end up at a team like Wigan or a team in the Championship.

It would be a bad move for him to go to Glasgow as the pressure will be huge and he's too immature to handle it.

I did read many comments from fans not wanting us to sign Rankin, inc a couple from Hibs fans glad he was going, lol. Not seeing much Scottish football down here I could not form an opinion, but I certainly agree that we REALLY need a central defender.
I to do not think Goodwillie could handle the powderkeg that is playing for the Old Firm. Given his ability for being able to find himself in trouble, whether or not his fault or not, he would be a sitting duck in Glasgow, so sincerely hope he does not go there.
I think Bolton, with Owen Coyle in charge, would be a good move, although I do have reservations about him being quite up to Premiership standards yet.
Various amounts have been mentioned, but given the sums paid for players down south, especially strikers, anything less than 2 million would be an insult, possibly as much as 3 million?

I think we'll get the 2 million for him, where he ends up however is a different issue. Good top see more people contributing, hopefully the numbers continue to grow.

Would have been good to see him at an attacking team like Blackpool, if they had stayed up, but if he does go to the PL, it'll no doubt be a relegation threatened team where he doesn't get many chances and get loaned out to a championship team come January.

I think you have hit he nail on the head there BS. Maybe a club like Birmingham would be a better option for him?

Well teams like Watford and Millwall seem to be selling their main strikers to the teams that got promoted so they will be on the look out for goalscorers. I reckon Birmingham is a good shout as they will have to do a lot of reshaping to be set up for actually scoring goals next season. Mcleish won't mind bringing in a Scot.

Agreed BS, are you the sole dee on here so far? Hopefully we'll see the numbers swell in the coming days.

Goodwillie to go to Fulham and team up with Zamora and Andy Johnson. McLeish rumoured to be next boss.

I think there is another Dundee fan on here. My main purpose on here is talking nonsense on PL boards though.

AS long as he stays well away from either of the ugly sisters, if and when he goes, then good luck to him. Im sure he would fit into any of the championship teams without any problems.

WOW! How did you think of that? This is obviously the first time we have seen a joke involving the opposite of "good" and a word for male genitalia (e.g. "cauck" as you say. If you havent realised yet this is SARCASM.

If the rumours about Goodie going to Everton are true then I think that could be an ideal move for him, learn his EPL trade in the reserves for a few months and then become a regular fixture as the season grows to a close, seemed to work well with Beckford this season after he made the jump from League 1, also think Moyes would bring out the best in him and keep him on the straight and narrow!

Also if Conor Wickham is being valued at £10m does Goodie for £2m not look like a bit of a steal? Goodie has scored against Champions League sides, last minute winner at Ibrox (some nerve needed there) what has Wickham done to earn that valuation? Play well in a poor Ipswich side?
