You should at least be happy with the improvement, results will pick up
United created very little, sadly we created 2 goals for them
Entertaining game and good performance from Spurs - good luck for the rest of the season (barring one fixture of course).

" sadly we created 2 goals for them"
this is my point and why i'm not happy. United did barely anything to justify a draw apart from us gifting them the goals
After last week... I'm very happy
Our best performance of the season

If ever there was a fixture we needed to win, it's that one
Yeh performance wise happy but a draw does absolute nothing for us i'm afraid. We also played well against Newcastle but got f uck all for it and this kind of feels the same except we scored a few goals today.
Lets put my objective hat on...
I think the main thing you have to realise Don is after three games without scoring in the league and after a thrashing at The Etihad, although you may have wanted to win, a response to the City defeat was the most important thing. A win would have been fantastic, but you're playing against last year's champions and a team whom you haven't beaten at home since 2001.
Your players put in a good performance and you scored 2 goals. That's a massive improvement compared to the last few weeks.
I do agree with you. All things considered we shouldn't be settling for a draw. We took the lead twice; we were at home; this isn't the best United team; they didn't have RVP.
We are sadly putting ourselves out of the top 4 race with results like this.

Performance was the key today, we did that and deserved to win,
Samir I agree but our results at home have been really poor and a draw really does nothing for us mate. yes performance wise very positive but still a point not good enough...........oh and Agent Livermore!!!!
Agent Livermore, your time is up, return to Tottenham

Don, your season won't be defined by games like today though. It's games like West Ham, Newcastle and to an extent the City game (in terms of the manner of the defeat) which have let you down. Getting a draw at home to a team unbeaten in 8 games and who recently hammered the team 2nd in the Bundesliga on their own patch is a good result, given the circumstances IMO.

If we draw against Fulham and Sunderland then you have the right to be angry Don
We just gave the current PL champions a run at home, and should have won, no reason to be upset at getting a point
I hope they never have to cross paths!
Don
I was more than pleased with a draw after seeing the original team, but as you say, basically Spurs gifted another couple of goals away. First goal, losing the ball in our own half, and then falling to cut out a cross and then Walker laying on a goal for Rooney and then the penalty, far too soft.
The team played pretty well, but still not happy with Verts playing out of position at left back. AVB really needs to sort the back four out. Still, another difficult game out of the way without defeat. And let`s be fair Spurs have avoided defeat agaisnt United, Chelsea and Villa this season, all three teams that beat Arsenal, so not all bad.
I agree with the article. Next two games are winnable but if we play like today and IF we cut the mistakes out we will have a chance. Need D Rose back.

Our next 4 games are Fulham (a), Sunderland (a), Liverpool (h), Southampton (a). Now we got 12 points from these fixtures last season. We are only 1 point ahead of last season at the moment, and with a win against United today that would have put us 3 points ahead.
I think it's asking a lot to beat our points tally last season, which we really should be doing with the money spent, and with that I think our top 4 chances are looking increasingly distant also.

Why? We've lost to arsenal and city, drew with Chelsea. We need to beat the teams we're trying to compete with at some stage.
