Chelsea Look Very Fragile And Weak

Chelsea had a good second half today. First half they looked uninterested

I've watched Arsenal a lot. Hardly missed a single game. You look comfortable and have the game in hand by and large. But you don't go out and destroy teams and play with little or no panache. And on the rare occasions you've gone behind, you haven't done enough to win the match.

All this garbage about beating the big teams means absolutely nothing this season

Watched both games. You were comfortable after southampton gave you a goal. You were camped in your own half for long periods though. Chelsea were more impressive.

We have not destroyed many teams because we don't have a clinical striker

Castor (I've learnt how to use the smiley now)

Beating the big teams is a bonus, not a necessity. Accumulating enough points over 38 games is all that matters. Arsenal can and have beaten good teams already this season though.

Chelsea were chasing the game while we were ahead so didn't have to commit

Op if you were talking about the Basle game you would be 100% correct, but to write this article after we have just come back and pulverised a very good southampton team is just bollox

"Chelsea were more impressive today than Arsenal have been on any occasion this season <okay>"

Clearly you haven't watched Arsenal this season with such a laughable comment.

You weren't impressed by how Arsenal were playing yesterday? What about Napoli? Liverpool?

True, but for anyone to say Chelsea looked shaky today is baffling. They were completely on top after one awful mistake from a player who really should be put out to pasture. It was a very very one sided game and Southampton offered absolutely nothing after going in front.

I was massivley impressed with Arsenal yesterday.

Merrysupersteve again, Chelsea first half were average at best.

Chelsea just don't look like their old selves. They will no doubt lose more points against minnows.

Dubbed,

You were very good against napoli and Liverpool. Not to the extent that City have been when they've clicked but good nonetheless. Certainly much better than we have been for the majority of the season. Yesterday, i thought you were good first half, not so good second half. But you were always solid as you have been all season.

Even if arsenal lose to the big teams why does that matter, we are dispatching lower class teams without moving into 3rd gear

Chelsea are powerful team and didn't look fragile whatsoever today.

Southampton bar the gift created f all

City are flat track bullies. Have they even won a 'tight' game this season? All their wins have been very easy victories, when oppositions have a game plan against them, they crumble.

Chelsea on the other hand have not smashed teams left right and center but have shown resilience at times. This is why I am dreading them at the Emirates but looking forward to travelling to the Etihad.

Unlike us?

Outside the so called top 7 we have only lost points to Newcastle and West Brom, while you have dropped points to Villa and West Brom.

So infact we have dropped as many 'silly' points as eachother.

Chelsea look poor defensively. They don't look like a solid core at the back.

Chelsea are still in 1st gear mate

This is true, you don't have to beat the big teams if you win the games you should do, but experience tells us that there will be a period in the season where a team drops points agst surprise opponents and that is when the results agst the big teams can come back into focus..

They have destroyed united and spurs. Wouldn't call them flat track bullies

Gifted or not. Southampton were the away team and lead early. Chelsea didnt have another what so ever in the first half. No creativity, no ideas. What game did you watched?

So how are Arsenal ahead of you if we dropped as many points as each other?
