Apart from being better than Bendtner [and better than nobody], what does Giroud actually bring to the Arsenal forward line?

Terrible feeling about this.

Everton have been so good today, Arsenal have given them far to much time on the ball with their stupid long ball game. Need to do better!

OK I defended Giroud on the miss when we scored but he really does need to offer more.

what do you guys think of Lukaku today?
------------------------------------------------------
He made it a bit too obvious his preference for his left foot hence making it easy for Per and Kolcienely to defend against him.Everything about his game is in place except one thing,

If he is to play as a lone front man he needs to spot his team mates in space much faster and pass the ball faster. He tends to hold on to it for too long.He can learn a lot from his opposite number Giroud on how to make use of flicks to play in his team mates rather than stopping the ball and holding on to it for too long.
