We would win the right to free political expression is enshrined under the European human rights act, that UEFA have to comply with.
Its part and parcel of a democracy, I don't like the tories but to outlaw them would be illegal.
UEFA dont get to decide what is allowed and what isn't.

------
Are you sure?
Don't think he had any part in that to my knowledge.
I think the difference here is that people are having a minutes silence for Mandela because they respected him. Not as GIRFUY to their rivals.... Which is what most of these green brigade lunatics are doing. Same goes for rangers fans and their ulster schiedt, they don't really care/know/understand the troubles they just use it as part of the rivalry with Celtic.

Osama bin laden was the leader of the mujahideen that forced the Russians out of Afghanistan in the 80's.
Ah, I didn't know that. I didn't think he was a leader. Thought he just fought there.

Was he the top man? Thought he was a kind of general, didn't think he had much to do with the political side of the Taliban.

The mujahideen was led by various Afghan tribal chiefs
Mandela said in his book that Bobby Sands inspired him.
Bobby Sands was an MP...A convicted...sorry...Conviction Politician.

So Johnny Adair flag, yay or nay?
Mandela was respected and admired by most free thinking people. "The father of democracy" some say.
Hes also been described by Thatcher as a "Grubby little terrorist" and most recently as a "Murdering old terrorist" by the BNP.
Its all about opinions folks, political opinion
Politics has no place in any sport, regardless.
Bin laden went to sudan after the russian war and went back to afghanistan years later when the taliban were in power
