WNM calling every team by their name bat LFC despite his team winning feck all for a decade having just let in six!

Haj,

You are utterly deluded.

Nah mate not deluded

Just stating an opinion that could very well be true.
Would you seriously RIGHT OFF United judging by all the BIG TEAMS LOSSES so far.

I've written them off for the league and I feel I know my football. In fact it would set a precedent were Utd to win the league from this position as no-one has done it before I don't.

Only 3 teams have failed to win the premier league after gaining 35 points after 15 games and the team that did win on those 3 occasions was not 13 points off the top.

Utd's next four games are crucial. If they don't win 3 of them then they will struggle to get 4th.

Robbing_Hoody - I taught Sterling to be a false 2 (U6374

I just think it's very dangerous writing those United players out completely. The same players that know how to WIN when it really is the BUSINESS END of the season.
I still think they'll be in the mix come what May.

Mix for what? It wouldn't be a total surprise to see Utd 11th bythe end of the days games tomorrow.

I can see Utd coming above LFC, Southampton and Newcastle but Spurs and Everton?

No, I just don't see it. It was mean everything would have to go your way still having to go to places like Goddison and St James having been turned over at home.

Mate, I'm not a UNITED FAN. I personally think their poo but to DISCOUNT them totally is a big mistake. They'll be in the mix come what May.

For me, it's still a touch too early to say what is now a realistic expectation for Utd. The title is unlikely, and personally I think it is 50/50 whether we finish top 4 or not. Come the new year and if any players come in, and that could go from 30/70 to 70/30.

The Christmas period will give us a slightly better idea, and after the January window closes, we can make a more informed guess.

Man utd have finished 1st or 2nd in last 8 seasons in the premier league and the 3 times we finished 2nd we were close to the title in fact twice we could have got it everton draw blackburn draw come to my mind our last big dropped points that finished us imo.

posted on 14/12/13

mancini said title finished 8 points behind 6 games to go and we all know how that turned out. Man utd could be 10 points behind top with 22 games to claw that gap. Nowhere near finished yet but we are running out of last chances.

Even Ross Brawn who I just found out is a man utd supporter thinks we can win the title. Worst case scenario is we miss out on europe altogether imo.

But you keep forgetting one vital piece of fact in all your deluded assumptions and guesswork, and that is that you have a pony squad, a pony first 11 and a pony manager.

Celery the squad that won the title easily last season, I agree with the manager part though.

But all the other sqiads have gt better bar none whilst you bought in Fellaini who does not even start half the games.

You start with Giggs, Cleverley, Welbeck and Valencia today. None of those players would get a game at Chelsea City or Arsenal. Even Spurs or maybe Everton on current form also.

Just the way it is.

10 point gap is catchable, 22 games 66 points to play for. To get 82 points my target for man utd we need 19 wins from 22 games. Having said this season even 78 points could win title.

funny you say that wellbeck valencia and cleverley were our stand out performers today lol. rooney and rvp been very poor finishing this season. Wellbeck missed a couple but its rare for our striker to score 2 goals in one game which wellbeck has done twice now.

Things are looking better. Defending great, creating tons of chances now to away to aston villa and now at home to west ham in the league and a couple of cup competition wins to. If tottenham don't win tommorow everton lose there next 2 games newcastle draw there next game at best man utd beat hull we could be 5th again.

posted on 22/12/13

Well, this season its all about beating the teams around you, which in your case means the West Ham & Villa results were very important.

posted on 24/12/13

Celery man utd are 14 ahead of west ham, I agree with the villa game though they could have gone level with us that game if they beat us. Now we need to beat tottenham our next game that is a team near us but first lets take care of hull and norwich.
