No doubt he is working hard. You can see he physically looks alot slimmer.

Would still have Giroud ahead of him against Chelsea.Got the Hammers away on Boxing day, so stick Bendtner in then if Giroud is poor vs Chelsea.

Time to move on people, let's be positive and for the millionth time, Giroud is vital to our season until we buy another better one we need to support him and the team.

Depends who Chelsea will play as CB! Giroud is fine vs small and weak CB! But today, Kompany had him in his back pocket. Not sure Giroud managed to win a single header or duel

Is bendtner really that much better at battling with CBs?

Amazing how quickly people turn on a player who's had a couple of bad games. Giroud was no worse than Ozil or Wilshere today yet you people singling out Giroud. It's pathetic.

Giroud has been quality for us this season, if you didn't think that you would've posted articles like this before (not just you, Dubbed).

The only thing is Wilshere should be a sub in big games he was wasteful and lost possession in D zone.

Also kompany is a very good CB. You don't come up against much better than him. So it was always going to be hard for giroud.

If we get a striker in January, I'd bet my house that he'd finish with more goals than Giroud, despite playing only half the season!

Kompany is vastly overrated. Living off his 11/12 season

I have backed WIlshere to death this season, but he had a shocker today. The amount of times he got caught out, he needs to be dropped. The way he gave away the ball for 5th I think was horrendous.

Looks like he is still a season away from returning to consistency.

Problem is we have to wait till the summer for a elite striker. No chance the likes of Suarez, Rooney, Costa etc would be sold in January.

Wilshere is so tense in big games he need to compose himself like Ramsey who was actually less wasteful today, Wenger has to keep Wilshere on bench for Carzola next game.
