Cinci - it is quite possible for anyone with a brain to be able to analyse the past, and still support the team. Multi-tasking.

Its very much like a terrorist organization.

The war has been lost long ago but the ''freedom fighters'', in this case Bute and Larry are still desperately trying to keep the past fresh in peoples minds, over a period of time many just walk away or shrug their shoulders at the latest bomb blast whilst a few are left to issue the press release denouncing the pointlessness and mindlessness of the actions of those '''freedom fighters''.

no surrender to the Stalites

Ah the Stalites, a phantom organization that do not actually exist, more proof of the mindlessness of the terrorists.

I'm not a "freedom-fighter" Cinci, and have no wish to fall out with anyone sensible.

If I mention the good old days under Mick's tenure, it isn't to offend you, or anyone else that mistakenly thought things would be better without him, it's just to remind ourselves of what we once had.

I, for one, feel we're worse off, but that's a personal view, to which I'm entitled. You and many others may think differently. You're entitled to that.

Exactly my point Bute, everyone is fully aware of the good times but have moved on, you on the other hand are desperate to continue the ''fight'' by dropping in irrelevant mentions as often as possible to derail decent threads and conversations so people don't forget your cause.

Nobody mistakenly thought anything, we fully expected a professional football club not to make a shambles of a simple process, and rightly so, we are not responsible for inept chairmen and board members.

I am not aware of the good times from you Cinci. All you refer to from our premier league days is spineless players, a manager who had lost the plot, and how many points we got from his last 20 odd games in charge. Maybe if occasionally showed some pride in the 4 of the last 30 years we spent in the top flight people wouldn't feel the need to take issue with you

It was the dancing on his coffin by Perton, Maz and Wolfie that kicked it all off.

The hearse hadn't even got off The bloody car park.

Those three idiots carried it on for months. Perton and Maz are still doing so to this day.

Time to get over it i would say, rather than rambling like a complete lunatic and trying to cause a row on every thread by winding others up.

Never heard me say a bad word about the incredible job Mick did with us initially DJ, even his first two prem seasons had highlights on the pitch often, some truly miraculous wins.
I won't however pretend his transfer record was nothing short of attrocious in the prem or his results in the third season anything other than terrible though.

And i guess Bute has finally got his wish, another thread collapses into needless point scoring.
Well done bute, its a privilege to have you here

Actually, I started the thread with the intention of needless point scoring.
