as you know,he tangled with ickx at eau rouge,which cost him his life
ironically,ickx waved the red flag at monte carlo in 1984,with senna catching prost and bellof catching both
One to watch next weekend: Jerome D'Ambrosio.
For the first time in years, the crowd have a local lad to cheer. I hope he does well.

Going this year - looking forward to seeing Eau Rouge for real.
Don't overlook Eric van de Poele - unlucky in F1 having to try and qualify the Brabham like Damon did, but a bit of a Spa & sports car hero with four Spa 24h wins, two Sebring 12h wins, and a podium at Le Mans.
Btw, you can easily edit your article to make the corrections, 128 divided by 3.
Oh, and 64 and 64 make 128 - that's OAP land!

i remember phoning my brother from a pay phone in the dip at eau rouge during sunday warm up,don't suppose it's still there

Oliver Gendebien.
GP driver in the late 1950s and early 60s, with a distinctive yellow Ferrari, his best results, 2nd and 3rd were for the Yeoman Credit team driving a Cooper.
One of the greatest Sports car drivers ever. 4 Le Mans wins in 5 years (58 -62), Targa Florio 3 times, Sebring 12 hrs 3 times and Nurbergring 1000km once.
He also won the Tulip and Liege-Rome-Liege rallies.
