twitter rumour - lamela starts via his brother.
Henge usually his brother is pretty spot on when it comes to news with Lamela so I would pretty much say that's nailed on. Lamela prove your worth mate.
Don
Maybe nows the time with Townsend out and different tactics, he could prove his doubters wrong? Hopefully
Might as well just give lamela a run of games. He can't be
Much worse than the others.
does he deserve to start over lennon or Chadli ?
Lennon will Def start on the right

I reckon Spurs will bounce back today, they play better away anyway. I wish Verts was fit though, Verts and Chiriches would have done OK together. Don`t want to see Jermaine (offisde) Defoe anywhere near the starting line up though. Lamela and Chadli I would like out wide, Lennon needs benching as well. Done absolute SFA to deserve a regular slot now.
Head-to-head
Tottenham won 2-1 away to Southampton last season but they have lost their five other matches at the St Mary's Stadium without scoring.
Spurs are chasing a third successive win against Saints.
Southampton
Saints kept six clean sheets in their first nine league games, but have failed to keep a shut-out in their subsequent seven matches.
They have failed to win their last five top-flight games (D2, L3). If they don't beat Spurs it will equal their longest winless run under Mauricio Pochettino.
Southampton have not won any of the eight Premier League matches in which they conceded the opening goal this season (D5, L3).
Tottenham Hotspur
Andre Villas-Boas won 29 of 54 league matches in charge of Spurs (D12, L13).
He had a higher win percentage (53.7%) in Premier League matches than any other permanent Tottenham boss.
Spurs have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last six Premier League matches, conceding a total of 16 goals.
They have claimed 16 points from their eight away games this season. Prior to this weekend, that was the joint best record in the top flight (with Arsenal).
Agreed sandy, Defoe did set up Ade brilliantly the other day but he was just consistently offside. I want to give Soldado and Ade a chance to see how they partner up.
Think we just need ade up top with Eriksen just behind
