Not bad, the passing is still well below par, and the defence still looks about as safe as an ice-cube in the desert. But hopefully second half can spend more time in the Southampton half, and secure a couple more goals. Rose is getting creamed. The left back position is becoming a major problem.

Poor choice of formation, as a result our shape is anybodys guess. We're getting hassled and harried off the ball far too easily.

We don't have Lennon available. Does seem like an oversight though. Lennon would have been good to bring on and add pace/width.
