Our midfield is shiiiit, yet Jose is bent on making it even shiiiiiiter, by stifling some of the players, that were signed, to give the midfield some life.

Bloodyblu take it easy..I have learnt already.

Just hope for good results and if not then it's not in our hands..Roman knows how to shoot

Mr Chelsea

Finally someone putting these results into perspective. Yes a draw isn't bad but considering how we're playing and the talent we've got in our ranks we're seriously under-performing.

The way the fans are going on in this site is like they would have preferred a 1-0s and 0-0s in Carlo's double winning season rather than the steam-rolling victories we managed that season. It's madness to revel in the mediocrity we've been displaying this season.

Jose hasn't got this team playing to their strengths at all. That's the only reason people see this as a good result. With the amount we've spent on players like Mata, Luiz, Hazard and Oscar we really shouldn't be looking to revert to a defensive counter-attacking side. If anything it's extremely poor fiscal sense to waste so much money on technical players if we're just going to trot out the rubbish we've been doing this season.

But of course, me wanting Chelsea to play better and utilise their talents more makes me plastic, right?

Jose shoring up defence first = plastic ?

The only midfielder we signed was Van Ginkel and he's injured we're stuck with the same 3 who were cráp last season and the season before that and the season before the season before that

See a correlation between us being utter drab and not challenging for the title for 3 years yet?

Don't forget Torres

Mr. C copied from other website.

He doesnt have time and mind to write all that stuff

Marco to be honest

There's no Utd anymore. Fergie's gone
Look where utd are

If utd stil had fergie

all of us would have been hovering around the same 2-4th spot like we have done for the last 3 years.

we're not really done anything different from last season. I dont think we have anyway? still cant defend unless we totally give up on attacking.

posted on 23/12/13

I didn't even need to mention strikers not striking

posted on 23/12/13

If you look at all the goals we've conceded recently it's been from the opposition's only shot on target of the game which is the annoying thing

posted on 23/12/13

Without our shlt midfield we wouldn't score at all

------------------------

Aren't we making the same point, but with different routes?
We have the likes of Oscar, Mata, and even KDB...why not try them out in different positions, instead of using the same dead midfield?

posted on 23/12/13

Because there's an outrage when 1 of our 6 attacking midfielders don't play

posted on 23/12/13

We are playing average but hanging in there.

That usually ends good, ask United fans

posted on 23/12/13

Mr Chelsea - Exactly.

We really haven't shown much progress in the way we play this season. Our attack looks disjointed at the best of times. We have spurts of brilliance in games but rarely have we come away this season saying "that was a really good performance".

Also, TCP, if we can only shore up the defence by completely sacrificing our attacking prowess it doesn't really say much about our team does it?

posted on 23/12/13

It was so much easier when everyone groaned when Kalou was warming up

posted on 23/12/13

We were never going to perform great and win straight away, have you forgotten how the last 3 years have been like?

Jose had a choice, go down the Rodgers route of focus on performances and let the results follow, or vice versa.

Lets be honest, the first option is not an option with Roman as manager, is it?

posted on 23/12/13

We can't create chances even when we go for it and if we do we just miss them anyway so we might as well stay solid at the back

We had chances. More than Arsenal. What's that say about their settled team / staff ?

I dont blame blu for his criticism.

Fans expect different football nowadays. All top 4-5 clubs in the world have their playing style which is good attacking football.

Few of fans were against Jose coming back because they can see it going back to his old stint. On top of that not winning enough and not playing the best player doeant help his case.

So playing good football but losing/drawing means
Playing sh! T football and not winning
Playing sh! T football and winning
Playing good football ans winning

I am happy if we win and win convincingly

Sorry i am hammered

So your idea of progress is to give up on attacking if we're not doing it well?

That definitely seems like the mode of operation of a top side...
