I dont think we are too unbalanced, however look at the side who uses it to greatest effect (City) and they rely on two proper box-box midfielders. Whereas ours are more deeplying or attacking. Only box to boxes I genuinely think are Paulinho and Holtby, and I would hate to see them in our midfield 2
all about results though. if we are winning games and big players have to miss out then so be it

I agree Chronic, but you don't want unhappy players infecting the club. All these players are on good wages as well. Also worth mentioning that Sherwood is obviously going to give youth players a chance.

Yep, let's sell a player who came in from a foreign league and has only been at the club for what, four/five months? That makes a lot of sense.
One of the reasons Newcastle are getting progressively better as the season goes on is because the guys they signed in January have now adapted to the demands of the league and are starting to show their true level. At Arsenal, Olivier Giroud has been much more effective this season than he was last season.
You can't expect players to come in from elsewhere and make an immediate impact on the league. Some do, but most don't, and the lack of patience some people are showing with our summer signings is bordering on ridiculous.

What was wrong with having 4 right backs?

If Sherwood is as good a manager as he thinks he is, he better have more than just 4-4-2 in his locker. Yes, we won on sunday but that game could easily have gone the other way and we'd be moaning about how open we looked. Hopefully it was just part of his i'm not AVB audition to Levy and he'll be getting the team balanced (something AVB failed to do).
On Paulinho, Brazil's first choice midfielder, arguably one of the most important players in their squad. Not worried about him at all. Another scapegoat for recent games.
