Watch out. We discussed it to death already.
I agree 100%, it's not entirely Giroud's fault. No matter how hard he tries, and to be fair he tries so hard, he's not going to turn into that pacy dribbler we all want.
He is what he is, a good striker with a lot of talent but not ideal for our style of play. He does make silly errors, but he also does other things well which many strikers can't do. It's a mixed bag.
We should support him all the way, and moaning about a lack of WC strikers doesn't help.

Like Hazard was supposed to run circles around Mertesacker?
Running circles around a player is silly

I agree. Dont want to distract the blame from OG but yes its right to mention that.
You could go through our whole team
Wasn't our £42M man meant to unlock Chelsea defense
Bottom line is, 2 chances were created for Giroud our striker & he failed to score again
Let's face it . It was a poor game played in appalling weather by two teams, whose strikers are badly out of form, desperate not to lose.
I like Giroud and Ozil but I feel that both slow our game down quite a bit. Ozil has bags of talent but needs to adjust to the prem in terms of pace and strength. Giroud needs to practise his finishing on the training ground so that he does not slice every shot.
