Why not? We're not playing Barcelona here. I like that Eriksen and holtby are in the middle. Means we have great creativity and a little battler in holtby. I wouldn't of started siggy though, god knows why he keeps his place but ah well
Comedy lineup, we have a depressing lack of options on the bench though.
would have played Capoue to strengthen the midfield, Holtby and Eriksen is asking for trouble imo

" comedy line up"
what so you would rather go the Avb route of 2 defensive midfielders in home games against teams we should be winning? I applaud Tim Sherwood for finally having the balls to go all out attacking. F. Uck the s. Hitty defensive formation, we are at home!!!
Wtf is that midfield all about? No balance to it
We are only weaker in subs because of injuries and suspensions.... Lennon, Townsend, Vertonghen, Kaboul and Dembele all injured. Paulinho suspended aswell. Usually our subs are extremely strong.
I can see us struggling with this midfield, no ball winner at all, WBA are better than their league position suggests
Btw for the two PMS'ing posters on this thread, I was saying comedy because it is so different to what we had before. Not because I was having a go at it.
Fack me we're going for it again never a dull moment should be a right few goals in this one
Don't give a f uck about balance, it didn't work for Avb this season in our home games with supposed balance did it? Tim Sherwood has picked a side that will go out and hopefully despatch Westbrom like we should do at home, something Avb and his 2 defensive midfield formation failed to do. Plus it's hard when you have so many injuries which we do. I'm sure Lennon would of started if fit.
We've put our reserve team out
Messiah, to right aswell... We are at home to Westbrom not Real Madrid. Westbrom are a good side but one we should be winning at home no doubt. I'm actually must more confident now with this attacking formation.
"Don't give a f uck about balance....."
Yes because this isn't real life it's just a computer game isn't it?
Lucky Sessegnon isnt playing, he would be able to exploit the inevitable hole between our midfield/defence.
I can see the Baggies bossing the midfield, ours is way too lightweight
Lion, let's wait and see how we do before you start p. issing and moaning about " no balance" yeh? Real life is playing an attacking formation and going to Southampton and winning 3-2 even though everyone on here said we would get slaughtered playing 4-4-2

Don, he has a different opinion to yours. Stop showing yourself up and shouting down anyone who thinks differently.
Edin, just can't stand the negativity every single time. Your not happy playing boring football and being negative under Avb then you guys are not happy going all out attacking under Sherwood, what the f. Uck do you want???
Questions to be answered today from the strikers love to see Soldado scoring and interested to see will Ade be up for it too
Arsenal play like this. Are Arteta and Ramsey defensive midfielders? No. Wenger send his teams out to attack and that's why they always get top 4.
Good team Tim
I didnt say I am happy with either. I havent made any positive or negative comments about the lineup as I have no clue how it will work out.
All I will say is I probably would have put out a slightly different team.
