Nothing from your own team
kyle walker scaring the hell out of a few first teamers shown on soccer am at halloween - very funny
nothing else football related for spurs springs to mind?!
TCP,
2013 has been a dull year as far as spurs are concerned IMO. Beat arsenal but we've done that a few times over recent years so not a standout highlight
Dortmund 4-1 Real Madrid was the best team performance i saw, particularly Lewandowski and Gundogan who were unbelievable, it could have been about 8
Best individual performances of the year:
Lewandowski vs Real
Suarez vs Norwich
Most entertaining match
Man City 6-3 Arsenal
Typical spurs getting more enjoyment from someone else beating someone else

So should my highlight be a draw then TCP?
For me it was Arsenal beating Spurs in September. At the time we were being written off by the media, experts, rivals and even a fair few Gooners. We had spent fack all, and many were laughing at that compared to the £100+ million that Spurs had spent.
It was a result that silenced a fair few, followed up by the signing of Özil soon after.
In terms of the wider picture, the amazing end to the Championship and League 1 seasons, with the missed penalties followed by winning goals up the other end, was great drama.
Brazil proving they can win still big games during the Confeds, while Spain proving they can be beaten in finals was a good prelude to the World Cup next year.
Swansea beating Chelsea in the COC semi final was nice, nicer than certain other ties in that competition anyway...
And, of course, I wouldn't be a Gooner if I didn't enjoy Spurs recent 6-0 and 5-0 hammerings
Highlight was fergies last game and being there to say goodbye at OT. Gamewise, winning the title against villa was good as united tore villa to shreds. Other matches.......has to be bayern just destroying barca, i mean they tore barca to shreds!
Bayern Munchen beating Barcelona 7-0 on aggregate for me was an outstanding for the year, adding to what some of the others said
For me it's how Suarez has come back from his latest ban. I know it's far too early to say for sure, but he does seem to have changed his temperament for the better. He seems very relaxed and enjoys his football more than I've seen in a long time. This has translated into some of the best performances I've seen from an individual, and has been an amazing sight for all fans....
Suarez getting his 10 game ban was best. LFC fans in meltdown.

Wouldn't say the Spain era is over personally, although the heat won't be ideal for xavi to be playing every 3/4 days.
comment by Lion-el King IV - The artist formerly known as Ledley, retire the no.26 - All hail The Messi-ah..... Neymar 1-0 Bale (U9722)

unfortunately for Spain they dont really have any back up for Xavi, theyve only got Javi Martinez, Koke, Thiago, Isco, Xabi Alonso etc
Spain still have a top, top side. Don't get me wrong.
But there dominance is over in my opinion. That doesn't mean they won't win Championships.. I just don't believe it will be a walk in the parkas it has been in recent years.
As a spurs fan for you why isn't 1-1 at Newcastle up there?
Probably because we lost 2-1 at Newcastle

If that was your highlight of the year, I pity you. You need to get a life
I've got no doubt this will turn into a wumfest between Liverpool, spurs, arsenal and Chelsea - that's inevitable,

Anyway I'll be the bigger man and wont rise to this thinly veiled attempt at a WUM and list my favorite moments of 2013
Newcastle 1-1 Arsenal (Sent Spurs packing into the Europa League)
Tottenham 0-5 Liverpool
Man City 6-0 Tottenham
Tottenham 0-3 West Ham
AVB getting sacked
Dim Sherwood getting appointed
