So the formation that will win us the league is the same formation that we have played all along.

I personally would like to see a front 3 of:

Pod - Giroud - Walcott

With Cazorla in the centre. He speeds up our game and we seem to dictate a game far more in the centre than ozil

The problem with Santi is that he cannot really thread a final pass as well as Ozil although he can really dominate the game. Play Santi in Ramseys position in the meantime then play the Flamster to protect the backline. Santi is wasted on the left.

Could work, could be a disaster

Come on Someday, that was far from unintentional.

Oh I see how that COULD be accidental

Arteta is a squad player. I don't mind him playing against lesser teams like west ham despite the fact they created numerous chances. But against top quality opposition or even decent like Newcastle on Sunday I do hope that Flamini starts with Wilshere or Santi in the centre!

Bit weird to sl@g off Arteta after his insanely good performance against West Ham.

You what, Pengy? He was AWOL as soon as WHU got on top.
He is okay when we are steamrolling teams, but as soon as the opposition get going he is shown up. Happens a lot in Europe, happens a lot against big teams, and even happens against the shítty little teams like West Ham.

Correct. Although on the ball he was good on Thursday. Against good opposition however he is too slow on the ball too.

He's our best looking player

Arteta had one of his best games for a while against the hammers, very rarely misplacing a pass, keeping things going in midfield for us nicely. Not to say Flamini/whoever wouldn't have been better, but he's a very good player for us to have.

He is good at passing, but he is not good at regaining control of matches once a team is on top against us. Which is kind of the role he should be doing.

Agreed, hence the likes of Flamini are more crucial in the big games.

But Arteta's tackling against the hammers was good, too.

Walcott should be used an impact sub imo. To win the title Arsene Wenger should sign another World Class player.
