I reckon United will be top 3 come the end of May. Their already starting to show signs of winning which has attributed to their winning mentality of old.
People that claimed they were out of the top4 contention only a few games ago should realise never to write of a team like that.

lol, top 4 I never thought about top 4 winning the title or being in the mix to win it will be a decent season. Man utd can win a lot of games in a row man utd won 25 of our first 30 league games last season and that included a defeat to norwich away and tottenham home who we play next.

Teams play the other 19 teams twice.
The team who gains most points out of these games finish 1st. The team who gains the next highest tally finishes second and so on.
No one has an easy set of fixtures, everyone has the same.

But they do look a lot better than earlier in the season and could come into top four contention.

Their masters at focusing on one game at a time, their next team their focusing on and overtaking will be Everton.
By the middle of January they'll be back in the top 4.

I wouldn't be so confident about them getting top four. City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Pool are all better than them. Though, Chelsea are looking a little shaky at present.

I would say that City and Chelsea do have very good squads, though Chelsea especially have been less than convincing, but Arsenal and Liverpool being better than us, very very questionable.

Questionable how? Arsenal win tomorrow and they're back on top of the prem, after 19 games.

Liverpool have in Luis Suarez one of the best players in the world and have some quality players in their team - hence they're above United too.

They are above Utd, in December, still a long way to go. Utd have in Rooney and RVP one of the top partnerships in world football, along with Januzaj who is looking like he could be one of the worlds best within a few more seasons. We beat Arsenal already this season remember.

I think last 2 seasons man utd had enough points to qualift top 4 by around march. Man utd were expected a dip one season start wise.

the issue is not who is better.The issue is united are 5 points behind a team that they are not significantly better than.Cant see you rein in Arsenal this season.especially with Carling Cup commitments and a deeper run in the champions league.

after our awful start, many of us thought we were doomed but fair play to moyes and the players.
we have responded relatively well and if we keep up our form and get 1 or 2 players in january then we have a good chance of getting top 4

look were arsenal were after they lost to tottenham last season, they reigned them in 2 months. We are just at half point now. 19 games 57 points to play for.

Let's assume that Man City will finish top four this season. Is very hard to see them not doing so, they're ruthless at home against the lower sides (apart from today but it's a blip)

Arsenal could be top after tomorrow and you should expect them to stay there. The cynics will say 'Arsenal will usually collapse' but there's definitely a lot more steel about this Arsenal team this time round... and even if they did collapse they'd probably still finish at least fourth.

Chelsea, for all their faults, you'd expect to see them there. They've been a bit sticky in recent weeks and if they drop points tomorrow there'll be a bit more anxiety but you'd expect to see them there.

Liverpool... Suarez is amazing against the lower teams, of course. But if anyone drops out I can see it being them. Don't think United have a better chance than them though.

When I say 'you expect arsenal to stay there' i meant top four not top.

your biggest problem this season is your defence.With Rio frozen out the young defenders must step up.Can they keep enough clean sheets?

Your commitments in europe and the Carling Cup will decimate your squad imo.Thats where liverpool may just pip you.

Not sure how the fixture list has been kind. About as tough a set of away games as you could have really. If Rooney is not playing they look awful.
