Should Lara move down to welterweight?

I honestly don't mind Floyd fighting Khan, he will give Floyd problems with his speed and combination punching. I think it will be a good fight.

Hope Floyd doesn't fight Maidana though, that'll be a shutout.

Nah Khan's a crap fight.
No one wants it.
I think Maidana will get the fight.

Mr C, Khan would give Floyd his toughest fight in years. Floyd hasn't got the power power to take advantage of Khan's biggest weakness, his chin. Khan can move, he's good combination puncher, good stamina and heart. I promise you he'll give Floyd a good fight if it gets made.

Have you seen the Lara vs Williams fight?

Lara is a top fighter, but it is a weak division.

Is Lara better than a

Prime Sergio Martinez
Vernon Forest
Winky Wright
De La Hoya.

Lara needs the big fights, but he is avoided by many. A fight with Kirkland could be a good one for him to take and a real test of his composure.

It looks like Maidana will get the fight now unfortunately, after absolutely bum raping Floyd's 'little bro'. Plus the boxing world's reaction to a potential Khan fight hasn't been great, he's been getting abuse, so he will probably fight Maidana, yeah...

Khan would trouble Mayweather for a few rounds with his speed and jab but once Mayweather adjusts he will pick him apart. Dont see him giving Mayweather problems like Cotto did. Would be shocked if Khan went the distance.

I haven't seen much of Kirkland, how the fack did he get stopped by a feather-fisted fighter like Ishida?

posted on 28/12/13

RGK I don't think Cotto gave Floyd many problems tbh, he made he made it tough without winning many rounds. I scored it 9-3 Floyd.

Floyd's toughest fights to date have been against Castillo and DLH

Nah dont think Maidana will get it. Khan Mayweather is a done deal unless Pacquiao does the unthinkable and buys out his contract with top rank

Floyd should fight, (in this order)

Pacquiao
Golovkin
Lara
Martinez
Kirkland
Khan
Bradley
Garcia
Maidana
Matthysse.

I wonder how many ducks Floyd will do till he gets a fighter he will take on?

Castillo was his toughest followed by Cotto and Burton. De La Hoya was missing a lot. Cotto did well to negate Mayweather's best punch. Mayweather had to dig deep to win that

So rather than fight Khan, he fight a fighter than Khan beat handily, and was not in the fight till the last quarter.

I would like Floyd's last 4 fights to be in this order:

Martinez (cos he's got very little time left in the sport)
Pacquiao
Lara
GGG

Even if Floyd gets past the first 3 without losing by some miracle, GGG puts him to sleep and it's a happy ending

Mayweather should fight

Klitschko
Haye
Wilder
Ward

On the same night and if he doesnt he is a ducker. #d4logic

If you think Kirkland's a beast you should see his trainer?

She's a

She put him through a killer training regime.

I called it.

I'm just ahead of my time.

I like the way I said, Mayweather will take another vacation, which he did, and he will always have an excuse to duck Pacquiao which he did.

Thanks RGS for that link, a chance for me to look back and admire my work

Woah what a fight so far

You claimed Mayweather could "duck" Khan.

Because Mayweather is a accurate fast puncher who does have KO power and Khan has a glass jaw with not the best defence at the moment.

Maybe if Mayweather drinks a bottle of vodka just before the fight, think Khan could take him.

Apart from the chin think Khan has all the physical atributes to beat Mayweather but not enough the technical, Maybe if this fight was in 10 years time when Mayweather is 42 and Khan is 32 at light-heavy, Khan may have a chance.

posted on 28/12/13

He could, he ducks everyone else.

If Khan would have remained unbeaten and fought and won at 147lbs.

Khan would be on Floyd's ducking list
