Deserving?

Anyone seriously using this line is just a fanboy.

Floyd needs to step up a fight the real challenges as every fighter should.

Pacquiao
Golovkin
Martinez
Lara

That is who Floyd should fight. Deserving? Sort yourself out fanboys

You think Bradley beat Pacquiao in convincing fashion

Or Provodnikov for that matter.

Garcia fights at two weight below where Mayweather last fought

Golovkin is willing to go to 154lbs to face Floyd.

If Floyd goes to 140lbs then he can face Garcia.

Maidana couldn't even put Khan down and caught him with his best shots.
Mosley hits harder than Maidana.

So lying face first qualifies paq to fight Floyd?

Provodnikov, Broner, Postol and maybe the likes of Crawford and a Gamboa.

Garcia has also said he will probably stay at 140lbs and he makes the weight comfortably and it would be stupid to move up and take on Mayweather first. And would take fights to adjust to the weight.

I don't care who 'deserves' it more. I care about who's gonna give him a better fight. And Khan will certainly give him a better fight than Maidana.

Maidana's incredibly slow, Floyd is gonna see his punches coming from a mile away and not get caught with anything big. Floyd's got the footwork/movement to deal with his pressure as well, it's a pointless and easy fight for Floyd, which means he'll probably take it.

Honestly I have absolutely no idea why people wanna see Garcia fight Mayweather. It'll be a walk in the park for Floyd. Garcia hasn't got the skillset to cause Mayweather problems, he's flat-footed and would be target practice for Floyd.

Other than the obvious names Floyd will never fight, Khan is the best available option for him.

Agreed kammy. But some will only be satisfied if Floyd fights Wlad.

So Mayweather needs to fight middleweights now? Why dont the middleweights Golovkin, Martinez fight cruiserweights/heavyweights. Or isit one rule for Floyd and another for other boxers. Pacquiao needs to stop hiding behind his promoter Arum and no one would pay to see Lara and Mayweather. Why dont Pacman fight these boxers? Martinez said he would come down to 150 to fight him.

Mayweather fights at 154lbs Golovkin and Martinez can make that weight.
Pacquiao moved up 10 weights, Floyd can't even do 3 without cherry picking

Love the excuses from the pactard

RGS, poor comeback.

The simple minded often have to resort to insults when when they have been throughly defeated in debate.

Don't worry you are not the first and you won't be the last

Be fair RGK.

Martinez had offered to come down to 152 catchweight to fight Floyd. Same as Canelo...

And Canelo is naturally a bigger guy than Martinez, he walks around at 170/175. The only reason he can still make 154 is cos he's still young, he's definitely moving up to 160 soon as he's struggling to make 154 as well. And Floyd is a champion at 154 so he should fight the best at 154.

If Cruiserweights and heavyweights could make 160, I'm sure GGG would put them to sleep

Martinez offered the same to Pacquiao Kamran. Let's not forget he wants no part of Golovkin in the same division. Mayweather is a welterweight. Only reason why he entered the 154 weightclass was for big money fights like De La Hoya, Cotto and Canelo.

Golovkin is a beast at 160 I can only see him fighting as high as 175. I think cruiserweights/heavyweights would be a step too far. He would get slower and his power will have less of a effect as he went up in weight. Can only see Ward having success because of his great defense

Pacquaio fought for the 154 title once (I think, correct me if I'm wrong?) RGK that was at a catchweight against Maragarito and he said he's never doing it again. He's a very small welterweight, he could probably still make 135. Floyd is a bigger guy and can fight at 154 imo.

Martinez would bring more money to the table than Guererro did (I know that fight was at 147) and many of Floyd's other opponents.

Martinez is ducking GGG, can't deny that, but I don't think it's cos he's scared, it's cos he wants one last payday before hanging them up. He's ducking for one reason or another though, nobody's denying that.

I think GGG is just right at 160 tbh, I think he would only come down to 154 to fight Floyd. He's natural at 160. I think he'll move to 168 sometime in the future but that's as far as he'll go imo. He's not a massive middleweight and I don't think his power will carry up if he moves up to weight classes.

two* weight classes

RGS sounds like a whining kid, "Pacquiao this and Pacquiao didn't do that" we are talking about Floyd.

Before the Margarito fight Pacquiao was willing to fight Martinez at the same weight he fought Marg at, Martinez didn't want it. This is a whole 10 weights above where Pacquiao started, putting on 50% in body mass along the way.

Floyd has got a long way to go to match Pacquiao's feat, basically Floyd would have to win the heavyweight Crown to match Pacquiao's amazing achievements

lol wtf has Leon Knight said about Ramsey RGK?

Golovkin has been lighter in the ring than Canelo for his fights. So let's not buy Floyd's or his fanboys fraudulent excuse that GGG is too big. It is because he is too good.

It is the only real excuse Floyd has.

Mayweather weighs barely more than 150 on fight night. He is a small welterweight too. Like Pacquiao he weighed 106 at 16. Has won world titles from 130-154. If he is big enough to fight Martinez so can Pacquiao. Think people want to see him fight middlweights because he has a good chance of losing. He wipes the floor with everyone from 154 down. Can see Golovkin fight at 175 for the right fight. Let's not forget rumours that he hammered Kovalev in sparring. You see Ward's comments on Froch?
