Wow! Is this guy serious? Lamela who has barely played league football has outplayed Ozil? Dembele who many Spurs fans want dropped too.

posted on 3/1/14

I initially thought he was serious, but then realised not even the most ret.arded of people would put together such a ridiculous list

I'm not falling for your obvious WUM attempt Beauty, you utter clown
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're the clown. Like the Spurs fan said, if you said "he's improved our team, played some good games and can only get better and show his class like he did at RM"...fair enough, but to claim he is WC on his form so far? I'm sure your fellow G*oners will admit, he's been good in games....but not WC to say he's anywhere near the best player in the PL.

Ok Kamran tell me from the below who ozil has had a better season than so far

Suarez
Aguero
Negredo
Ramsey
Lukaku
Barkley
Hazard
Silva
Yaya
Rooney

That was for Ledley....really struggled on the Spurs players....

He's been better than Lukaku and Barkley for sure, arguably better than Hazard and Yaya too.

I don't judge players based on a few months form anyway, because I'm not a single-minded moron who will be made to look like a fickle idiot when my opinion changes along with some players' form.

So come on ....tell me the players out of the top 10-15 that he's been better than???

"can't be bothered, you're r*tarded...blah de facking blah"

What???? Lukaku, Yaya and Barkley....you honestly think he has brought more to the PL this season than them 3? What planet are you on?

Yaya has 10 PL goals.
Lukaku - 9
Barkley has been a revelation this season...didn't see Ozil running at our team when we battered you at ours.

What!!! forget the rest but you think Ozil has been arguably better than yaya. Really I mean really? As for Hazard he has basically be carrying Chelsea on his own.

I know everyone is entitled to an opinion, but honestly take it from me your opinion is highly highly rose tinted, some fans of clubs are not capable of forming an honest unbaised opinion, your one of them.

posted on 3/1/14

Yaya has been a joke defensively, he's one of the reasons Man City are conceding so many. Look at the bigger picture you drip, not sure how many goals he's scored.

And you're saying Lukaku (a striker) has been better than Ozil (a midfield) because he's scored more goals?

your stupidity is staggering.

The only big league game this season where Ozil was poor was at Old Trafford where he was ill. He was great against Liverpool and had good games against City and Chelsea. He just didn't stamp his dominance on those games but he was far from poor. For sure, I expect a lot more to come, but he's certainly been a valuable asset so far. If Ozil had an Aguero, RVP or Rooney or Suarez ahead of him, only Silva at his absolute best could possibly rival him. Even a Negredo or Sturridge would make a massive difference.

Suarez - yes
Aguero - yes
Negredo - yes
Ramsey - yes
Lukaku - Not a chance.
Barkley - Don't take the píss
Hazard - yes
Silva - arguably Silva edges it
Yaya - debatable
Rooney - yes

That's only IF we're basing it purely on this season. Most of those players have had a chance to acclimatise to England and have gotten used to Premiership football, though. This is Ozil's first season and people needn't not forget that. The fact he has 5 goals and 9 assists when he's not played to his full potential says something.

Barkley? The no.10 without an assist and less goals than Ozil? Of that list, Suarez, Aguero, Ramsey, Hazard, Rooney and Yaya have been better. The rest haven't.

A drip, this from the guy who gathers his opinion of a player off some mug of a pundit on MOTD. Yaya is NOT a defensive midfielder but in any case he is better at defending and tracking back than Ozil will ever be. To be honest its not worth even discussing football with someone so rose tinted, i would guess you have not actually watched much of either player and only know that Ozil was very good for RM so must be as good for Arsenal. I am sorry to say he ain't been, not even close.

As for Sheriff saying if Ozil had this player or that player it would show how good he is, what type of excuse is that. Lets turn it round if Tom Cleverly played alongside Ronaldo every week as Ozil did then he would bag a ton of assists as well.

Ha, I've been saying for a while that Yaya is a joke defensively, especially in a 4-4-2. So get your facts right you helmet. Yaya is a box-to-box player, which means he has far more defensive responsibility than Ozil, so to even make that point proves how incredibly ret.arded you are.

Silly comparison. If you're playing the master of the through pass or clipped ball over the top, you need runners in behind and finishers. Ozil has spent most of the season playing behind statue, Giroud, and out-of-position wingers like Santi, Wilshere and Rosicky who won't make the runs behind the defence. It doesn't take a genius to figure out players like Aguero, Suarez, Rooney, RVP etc would improve him. Massively. Cleverley has Rooney and RVP. Even Welbeck and Hernandez make great runs. Welbeck just happens to have a horrible touch and dodgy finishing.

5 goals (in PL?) and 9 assists (in PL?) for £42.5m? World Class?

MF's/Attacking MF's who have scored more than Ozil's 4 PL goals:

Yaya Touré
Eden Hazard
Aaron Ramsey
Yoan Gouffran
Oscar
Yohan Cabaye
Seamus Coleman (defender)
Charlie Adam

He has 7 assists in the PL 1 more assist than:

Navas
Gerrard
Ramsey

2 more than:

Silva (month out injured)
Brunt
Suarez
Zabaletta
Lampard
Hazard
Miralles
Lambert
Henderson

You sure???

1 less goal than:

Ozil has been in the top 10 players this season for sure.

My problem is the arsenal fans claiming he's the best in the league, which just isn't true

Suggest before you start gloating on about Ozil...both of you get your stats right and see the difference you got for £42.5m...compared to some of the other players a 5th of his price....

He made most of his assists and goals in the early part of the campaign...since December, he's done what exactly?

I said you will be able to name players that overall, Ozil has maybe been better...the transfer fee is the difference here....especially for a WC player you keep harping on about, that you have seen play superbly well, apart from the United game....

He's an attacking player, not a MF, DFM, or winger....it's his job to get forward and assist and score..his job.....he's just been 'ok' at doing it. Not to say he won't go on to show his true talent in years to come....but no need to use 'name-calling' to detract from your biased viewpoint.
