I would be happy with that side
Nice to see that your manager has decided to field his strongest team. Hope you all have a good visit to the home of football previously known (and still referred to) as Pride Park (Forget all this Ipro cr$$). We remain forever optimistic in respect of the result (as always) so please don't expect us to roll over.
Good luck (except for tomorrow).

That side looks decent
However people are in denial about KDB he's on his way out so won't feature
I think it be
Schurrle mata Willian
Torres

Doing alright under mclaren
I'm expecting a tough game
Mata has to start, and so does Ba
There is full week to rest.
I would go with Torres may be he will score and give him bit of confidence for next game
Has McEachran not returned to us? Why not try him out in games like this instead of Essien who's time with us looks to be coming to an end!
Just a thought!
Brummie I know your love for Josh
But when he has no future at Chelsea so why to give those valuable minutes to Josh rather give to someone else

The alternative is Essien who also has no major role in our future
Id play josh
But I also thought he was the English iniesta
If deffo give josh a go.
J-AP, may I just refer you to TCW's post!
Toby, I don't know if he could be the English Iniesta and never heard of him described as that!
All I know is if we never try him we'll never know either way!
I think he is just too light weight for Jose's liking..he wont be able to press and defend
Mceachren was pretty average in his loans, by and large. But I still haven't forgotten the step up in 10/11. I'd like to see him get one or two more chances in the first team, if he looks out of place then fine, let's move him on.
TCW, that is not strictly true. He played well for Boro and was voted their 'Young Player of the Year'.
Most Boro fans I know at work thought he was great and were hoping they could sign him on a permanant basis
J-AP, you mean like Mata!
I didn't know that Brums. That's encouraging. He was no good at Watford though. Though didn't they just lose about half their first team to Udinese (they were on loan?) so there might be extenuating circumstances for not doing so well.
He can't drag a team on his own TCW.
Did you see his mazy run through the Wednesday defence when he was at Boro?
Doesn't mata anymore.
Josh will not get chance at Chelsea now only because he had poor loan spells and with so many players fighting for game time at the moment, I cant see Jose playing Josh
I did. Did you see Zhirkov's run from the half way line on the left wing before he got to us though? And he scored at the end of it!

But you can't use isolated incidents to prove anything.

I did forget about Josh but if he is fit enough then i would like to see him given a run out, although if we are looking to sell/ release him in this window we will not get as much money for him if he is cup tied unless he goes to a club that has been knocked out or he goes abroad which i think is highly unlikely. If we decide to play Essien it really won't make much difference if we are trying to sell him as it's 95% certain that he would go abroad where he won't be cup tied.
TCW I am impressed that you know one or two things
No you can't TCW, but it does give an indicator of what they are capable off and I used to weatch him regularly for the youth team and he used to go on runs like that regularly!
