Follow American Football myself, could have picked a much worse team to link up with than the 49ers - very good bit of business imo
Would've been happier had it been the saints!
Don't know much about this, but first thought is Liverpool fiasco with Hicks & Gillette and Man utd seeing money siphoned out for the Glazers.
Bet this is so 49ers can play at ER.
Intriguing - talk about sharing best practice but not sure that will lead to investment. Two good brands so it's not negative.
Guess which team I follow in the NFL?
What fantastic news if true!
I think that's superb news, fresh story to sink our teeth into. Just saw this on the sky sports bar. Interesting
They have already ear-marked Lees as their new punter
Maybe we could integrate the food & snacks.
We'll take a few chilli dogs, they can take a few of our scolding hot 'meat' & potato pies.
I think the potatoes are rubbed on the side of some meat and then put in the pie. No meat is actually put in them
I think the pastry is rubbed against cardboard too mate
Well at least pre-season friendlies will be fun!.
So,what do you think our chances'll be?.
You're forgetting that Liverpool are now owned by a baseball club owner, Jonty, and have turned their fortunes around.
They're not buying us, just a commercial partnership for both teams to attempt to make some money.
It seems more like we want them than they want us, I don't care lol, they can have Lees on loan if they wish.
If they bring corn dogs to ER will be a massive hit!
Best, I like the idea of sharing ideas and I thought hicks/Gillette would be good for Liverpool so fingers crossed.
Could ship lees, brown, tonge, norris, varney among others off to Alcatraz. Might be the only chance we have of getting them off the wage bill.
First time 49ers played at Wembley there were 70'000 of their fans out of the 90'000 capacity.
They have a huge following, probably down to the glory years of Joe Montana & Jerry Rice.
Could do with their cheerleaders

Don't they play in RED
I wouldn't mind us playing in red socks, tbf.
Just the socks, mind.
We have played in all red b4 now, and in all white with red socks a few times.

How did you find a photo of our lass and get mates?
Yes!!!! Cheerleaders in exchange for Varney. Loving that idea. I salute you Mr Haigh........

Good news because it shows how big we are for them too do it. And that we have at least got good contacts
But these things are more often an excuses for directors to go on a jolly.
And nothing really comes off it
