I love the way Rodgers refers to the club i the press, always as the most important thing, he always says how lucky players are to play for LFC and always says how massive a club we are despite us finishing outside the top 6 in the pl for last few seasons, he develops this mentality that will be vital if we are to achieve anything.
Kneerash.. Bit excessive though isnt it. All this sucking up..
All these quotes are indicative of is how desperate Rodgers is to a) lick a$$ and b) justify his transfer recode.
In the case of Moses the historical debate is irrelevant. Liverpool need (or certainly needed) him far more than we did, so to pull the 'big club' argument at this stage is a fairly desperate attempt to essentially justify a poor loan signing he made.

I don't think he's trying to lick anything or justify his transfer record. It's been clear that since moses has turned up he hasn't been giving enough on the pitch, chelsea is a big club, with lots of players where moses is hardly missed, whereas here, the expectation is much higher, looks like Brendan has done the right thing and had a proper word with him, we don't need another joe cole etc.
Did he say anything about his tranny girlfriend?

I don't know if he would be a step up from Rafa, I just know we need someone better than Rafa. Moyes would be my 2nd choice behind Jose, in fact he is probably equal on my wish list to Jose.
