"My money would still be on the shark INSIDE the water."
Is it just me or is "inside" really not the right word?
_______________________________________________________
My apologies Stephen Hawking. What technical term would you suggest?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm thick as sh/t, I just couldn't work out whether saying "inside" the water was weird or not.
Again get your facts right. He 100% wanted to leave. In fact he his preference was Man Utd. Stop talking garbage and have a clue first
--------------------------------------------
Who said Nasri didn't want to leave? I said Wenger wanted to keep him but the board ensured he was sold. Read it slowly.
And Nasri only wanted to leave when we allowed City turn his head. Had we offered him the contract he asked for in January, he'd 100% be an Arsenal player.
You remind me of D4 who once claimed he could whup Mayweather in a fight. Seriously deluded.

Fabregas wanted out to his boyhood club Barcelona who isnt a fellow English club. Not hard to understand why Cesc doesnt get abuse. Nasri is a for joining Man City by far a smaller club than us
===
RGK, Fabregas put in his own money to force a move through to Barcelona. On the last day of the 2010/11 season, our club captain was busy watching the Spanish Grand Prix rather than watching the great club he captained at Craven Cottage. What kind of message does that send out that our club captain would rather be elsewhere than supporting the team he was part of? That said a lot to me about how much he 'cared' about the club.
Frankly, I am amazed so many fans still admire the way Fabregas handled his move to Barcelona. Personally, I thought it was shameful.
That makes it better the fact he took a pay cut to join his boyhood club and isnt a mercenary like most today. The game at Craven Cottage was a dead rubber. We were guaranteed top 4 spot by that stage. Cesc 100% loves Arsenal. I dont admire they way he went about it but he is forgiven because he didnt join a rival club. He would have stayed at Arsenal for life if Barca didnt want him.
You really don't see them?
---
As I mentioned above, he wasn't supporting the team on the last day of the season and buggered off to Spain, he tried to fund his own money into moving to Barcelona and his behaviour throughout the transfer saga I felt was sickening. When Reina forced the Barcelona shirt on him after the 2010 World Cup win, his reaction was very poor.
Nasri was more professional than Fabregas was, in my opinion. Not that that's going to be a popular opinion, but I expect a lot more from a man who was captaining our club.
Dafuq you laughing at Sheriff? D4 would smash Floyd to bits.

I read what you said. He was trying to force a move to Man utd and we were having none of it. He accepted Man City because the contract was too good to turn down. Stop defending the mercenary ladyboy. You're 100% gullaible if you think we let him have his head turned. He was talking to the Manchester clubs behind our backs long before the summer.
I dont admire they way he went about it but he is forgiven because he didnt join a rival club. He would have stayed at Arsenal for life if Barca didnt want him.
----
Maybe, but I still don't think it was professional. Whether the Fulham game was dead rubber or not, the season still had not officially ended, he was captaining our club and he should have been there, not watching race cars in Spain. Arsenal should have been his priority.
Putting in his own money to fund the move showed to me how eager and desperate he was to leave the club, which was the antithesis of what he was saying about truly loving Arsenal. I have no doubt he loves Wenger and enjoyed his time at the club and wishes us all the best, but I expected better from him. Especially as he was representing a club who really helped develop him as a player.
Nasri had a pop at the fans when he was still at the club. Stop saying that he was professional. Comparing him to Theo is ridiculous. Theo wanted to stay. Nasri didnt. If Theo wanted more money there was plenty of clubs willing to offer him far more than what we are giving him now.

Again, I've never suggested Nasri didn't want to move. He asked for a contract in January which we weren't willing to offer (reportedly 100k a week). He simply bidded his time, waited for the summer and went to the highest bidder and highest payer.

On the contrary, they'r perfectly comparable. Walcott conned his way into earning fat wages with some BS about wanting to play as striker when the world and his dog knew it was all about those 6-figure wages.

You actually believe that. He wanted to leave for ages other clubs were offering double what the club could offer him. He is a mercenary.

If it was about the money he would have facked off like the other mercenary that you defend. He wasnt asking for outrageous money and he 100% wanted a opportunity to play as a striker.

Any evidence of this? Your bias against the player is just shining through. Nasri took advantage of some excllent pre-Christmas form to seek improved contract terms and this was widely reported. So how did you come about the rest of your supposition?
I think it may have been around pre-season when some sections of fans jeered and even abused him.

In fairness, stick from the fans is what comes with becoming a professional footballer. I can understand why he had a pop at the fans if they were hurling abuse at him, but it would have been better to keep quiet about it rather than fuss over twitter. It doesn't help, it just makes the situation worse.

Walcott didn't have the suitor list Nasri did. No one made an approach and Arsenal were desperate to keep him due to our reputation as a selling club. The only difference between both players is Arsenal cashed in on one and kept the other. That's all.
Dont wish this kind of injury to anyone. Awful.
