Whatever about his time at Chelsea (first time around) and Real but his achievements at Porto and Inter cannot be denied. To win the CL with those squads was a tremendous feat.

He is not a patch on Fat Sam

I don't think so Bats.. if he goes pot less in this season (which is possible) then the British media will unearth his potential and drive him back to Portugal.

No they won't, they love him even more than Arry

I hate the guy and i hate the way he wants his teams to play.

But he clearly shows that you dont need to be a top level pro footballer to be a good manager. In fact in many sports the best coaches haven't played at the top.

In american football some of the best coaches didn't play the sport beyond high school.

American football is not evolved like real football. Moreover, Portuguese league can be considered as high school level football when you compared to the European football.

Doesn’t make any difference if player has had a good career or not. If that was the case, Roy Keane would be managerial royalty…….he’s not.

Yeah, a guy that's won league title in Portugal, England, Italy and Spain as well as the Champions League with two different clubs and a whole host of domestic cups in various countries is a fraud.

Give those players to my nan she'll win the treble every year... and moreover stop your drivel about West Ham and Big Sam before i press the delete button.. you've been warned.

I hate Maurreen. Egomaniac, arrogant and hate the way he sets up team.

No envy about his success, there are successful managers out there which I respect and like but maurren is on another level..

I'm not asking to have a good career. What I'm questioning his playing experience in top level football.

Your analogy appears to be a pilot repairing an aircraft.. which is dumb in my opinion.

Sure is a good fraud.

Its actually much more evolved.

The tactical element of am fit, coaching and individual atheltic development goes way above and beyond that of football.

But the point is someone who has dedicated their life to learning about football tactics and coaching them will always be better placed to do it than an ex pro like Giggs who has basically played his entire career under the same person who pretty used the same tactics for that whole time.

Thats why all Fergie's desiples have failed, they all try to do what he done except they dont have the depth or background knowlegde that he does to make it work. As a result its always a poor incomplete immitation.

Hmmm.. He's a world class manager like it or not Maf..When he leaves a club, most players have nothing but good to say about him. He's leaves grown men in tears ffs and not tears of joy either.
He's a level above who we had last season imo in Rafa Benitez. Not that I dont rate Benitez, I used to defend Benitez last season but Mourinho this season has changed games with his tactics and subs on his own which imo Benitez could not do. Yes we've got a good squad but he's come in and changed the mentality of the team imo and he's changed the dynamic of the team so we're not relying on just one player in Mata. Not many managers could do that and stil come out alive. Everyone's is happy and fighting for places. He does have his faults. He sometimes goes overboard in what he does on and off the pitch but so did Ferguson.

Mr Chelsea, no offence but tell me how many players he has developed in his career? Drogba? I can't think of any other players who progressed under Moureen!

In my opinion, he is riding his luck more than any other football manager.

Fart Face, know your place. West Ham seen bigger and better managers than Moureen in the history... we are not a tin pot club.

Would be interesting to see Mourinho in charge of a West Ham or Stoke. Give him a club with limited resources and see how he gets on

Exactly. Every football fan ask this question to himself when they were praising this fraudster.

At least, will he do the same job as Adkins at Southampton? I don't think so.

Look at his career in Portugal if you want to see why he deserves to work at big clubs
Took a club that was fighting for relegation to 5th place. Their highest ever finish
We all know what he did with porto

If you can use the limited resources argument for Jose then what about pep guardiola

He's jumped from one big club in a two team league to another big club in one team league.

Remember Greek team that crowned European Champions.

As I said, he is riding his luck at a club with abundant resources either with players or money. Sooner or later he'll fall in to abysmal then you all come and apologize to me.
