No we were interested and he mentioned us in an interview about a week before he went to London, Spurs came in he decided he'd g to them, they brought him over and I think he did a medical with them? Could be wrong on that but roman knows the Russian owner of Anzhi Makhachkala (copy and paste nobody can spell that off the top of their head!) and didn't he call him directly to hijack the deal?

He's played 10 games, and has 2 goals and 5 assists, the majority of them coming in his last 5. Already exceeded expectations by setting in so quick, he's defensive work and dribbling is also outstanding
