We're not really that striker type of team either, Even Drogba bar 2 seasons never use to score that many in the PL, for a while we've never really soley relied on one or two players with a 20-30 goal regular season like say rooney/persie at united, rvp at arsenal, bale at spurs, suarez at liverpool etc, we've always had them shared out between attackers and wingers, midfielders couple of strikers, our defenders chip in with a lot as well

Similar but from soldado only played around 17 games / half season in the prem Torres been about much longer and was a feared striker at Liverpool

Not saying soldado will come good or not but right now is not the time to judge him
