I applaud your optimism Sandy.

Can't say I share it.

Do you need someone to seriously break it down for you that a City side where Shaun Goater or Wright-Phillips are their best players is different from the City that thumped you 6-0 earlier this season? You really do post the most childish stuff, Sandy boy.

Mate, City will take Spurs to the cleaners.
Their better in every single position then your team and not to mention a bench stretching 10 deep in personnel.
Spurs have no chance in hell. If Auguero don't get you Negrado will, if both are misfiring the Dzecko will come into play. And who needs a midfield when Yaya Toure is calling the shots.

Spurs have no chance.

Let the City gloaters make hood wink you and let you forget to them in the Welsh valley!

Away from home, they are a little vulnerable.

Don't get me wrong, they are an extraordinary bunch of players and so they should be since $heik rattle and roll paid $$$$ to get them.

But on a cold wednesday night, and with many Spurs fans supporting their team, it is possible to faze them a bit and maybe get a draw.

Remember, Cardiff

Haven`t the botttom side Cardiff scored 5 goals against City this season, so WTF should Spurs be afraid of them, just because they lost 6-0 away when the team was still finding it`s feet does not mean they are going to lost to City at home. What decent sides have City beaten on the road this season? I`ll tell you none.

PS Have Shaun Goater and Wright Phillips both been playing in all 39 games. Go away you silly man.

What for saying Spurs will beat City at home as they did last season. FFS are City that unbeatable, they are not even fecccccking top of the league, and despite scoring all those goals are a miserly half a dozen points in front of Spurs, despite having hardly had a difficult away game this season.

I`m looking for more than a draw, City may be good going forward, but at the back they are pretty average, and if Cardiff can score five past them in two games, no reason why a resurgent Spurs with the crowd behind them cannot put them to bed as they usually do at WHL. I think everybody are getting a tad carried away with City.

What like last season and most other seasons, where City invariably get beat at WHL.

We all know City are scoring goals for fun, but most of them have been on their own patch, and apart from Chelsea away, which they lost, they have not beaten any other top side away, not that they have played that many. I think everybody is getting a tad carried away with a 6-0 loss earlier in the year, which is completely irrelevant to next week`s return fixture.

Sheriff seems to have fecccked off. He really is a complete knnnnnnobbbbb with his condescending shiiiite he keeps posting when any poster dares to suggest a team could possibly beat teams like Man City or Chelsea.

You hope they slip up?? I don't see them slipping up, simply because they have players that have gone the distance in a title race. They know how to win and in the new manager a man that demands winning. Forget that fraud Mancini, City have a proper manager now for this league as well as in the Champions League.

No, you caant. Your silly rationale for why you should beat them is why I labelled it that way. What the fack has the last 39 games got to do with the next game?

This Spurs side are in a completely different place than we were back to the 6-0 thrashing at the eitihad
-----------------------------------------

If you play the way you did against us in the recent FA Cup at the Emirates, it won't be pretty against City. They have much greater firepower to make you pay for that kind of performance with a real thumping.

Sherif, not sure why your giving sandy stick mate because he makes a few good points. They are currently not top so all this talk of them being unstoppable is a bit OTT because if they were they would be sitting comfortably in 1st place. As stated their away record is nowhere near convincing as at home. We also beat an excellent city side last season at home so no reason as to why we can't do it again

why would we play how we played against you versus city? arsenal was a cup game, and sherwood learnt from it, hence he didn't play two strikers v swansea - another team who like to keep the ball

if we start properly we could get a point. if we start as slowly as recent games we will be out of it by ht.

I never said they were unstoppable or that you can't beat them. Merely pointing out your last 39 matches against them which he's quoting has no bearing on this one. I'd be more than delighted if you thrashed City. I guess I've been conned into believing we're in a title race. Oh the hope.....

Clubs have inexplicable bogey teams. Not unheard of.
