How would the bbc know who is asking for what in the supposed ongoing negotiations? Are they hacking the phone calls? Intercepting the emails? Sitting in the meeting itself?
are they hanging in the background in the Skype call?
ooh is it like an auction?
He won't be going to Man U.
Not unless we get Rooney which I don't want as he's got 2 to 3 years left in him at the very top. He hasnt got an athletic build unfortunately.
Rooney's built like a bin man who goes to the gym on the weekend.
LOL - why are people getting upset? Some random Sky Journo is the only person saying this is happening, from what i have seen/read there is not one scrap of evidence. However, if someone has some please post it up here, as all i have seen so far is stuff like "sky sports believes", and "inside sources".
Can't we do a deal with PSG? Cavani is reportedly peed off there and maybe they would like Mata and some money on top
or Costa at Atletico might suit Mata better
(Mata + 20 million) for Cavani
or
(Mata + 30 millon + Torres) for Cavani
As part of the deal selling Mata to United, If it was a straight choice between the two RVP or Rooney, which one would be a better player for us?
Like fack we'd get away with that TGI. Cavani would want 20m for Torres atleast.
I like how Torres is valued £-10m
What is Torres fair value, imo its 15m
That's coz he's injured. Once he's fit again it's £-20m
Biggish in all honesty i would prob go Rooney myself, slightly younger and i think we need that style of striker. RVP is basically a better older Torres. And although Torres has been sheet i think part is to do with how the team is set up.
I really don't think Rooney or RVP are buys for the long term. Our recent purchases have all been early to mid 20's. Thats the way forward.
How many years will we get out of those two?
Simon....yes that's my feeling too, although I think RVP is being hard done by being compared to Torres, technically RVP is superb...
Mata loves beautiful places and sceneries.
he likes taking photographs.
WTF would the want to go to Manchester?
The thought of getting Rooney just doesn't blow my stack somehow. I just want an out and out sniffer, that punishes teams that give him just half a chance.
If there is truth in this Mata story they must have began talking after yesterday's match...
biggish
Rooney can play upfront and in the 3 behind and his work rate and age put him above RVP in my opinion.

Im talking more in style and pre injury Torres
Bovril you are correct in the long run - i dont think either are our solution, but was just answering Biggish question if we had the choice of the 2.
Though TBH thinking about it this is what i would do next season, although has a big chance of blowing up in my face. And please hear me out.
I would get Drogba back on a 1 year deal, then going onto coaching.
Would try and get Piazon back, and then use Drogba as a 1 off to try and kick start Lukukas training and really have a go at bringing this boy through. Drogba would still have a few games. Off load 2 of what we have at the moment and go on from there.
